Situation:

Alysa Valdez, a SHS Assistant Principal in PVL National High School, is currently
conducting a study titled: Supervisory Innovations of Selected Senior High School
Administrators in the Division of Northern Samar. Her study includes school
administrators and teachers of big secondary schools offering senior high schools in the

such as small with less than 440, medium with 441-840, large with 841-1,240, and very
large with 1,240 and above.1However, big schools were determined based on at least
300 number of students enrolled considering the situations of Northern Samar with
smaller number of students enrolled in senior high schools.

Answer the following questions in 30 mins with 100 points each:

1. How many schools are identified? What are those schools?
2. Determine the sample size using Slovin’s formula.
3. Propose your own sampling mechanism how to determine the actual
respondents. Present in a schematic diagram or a process/flow chart.
4. Identify how many samples according to geographical location.
5. After determining the samples in every geographical location, identify how
many samples there will in every school.
