Assumptions:
1. Existing plantations and PICRI yield records were used as basis / reference for the annual
yield projections.
5. Stimulation program will be carried out after 6 years from opening or starting on panel B0-2.
Stimulation plan:
2. Trees per hectare is projected at 500 trees per hectare during establishment, a Tapping year 6 to 10 – 4 rds/yr, 2.5% a.i. ELS
corresponding attrition rate of 3% per year is imputed starting on year 1. Tapping year 11 to 15 – 6 rds/yr, 3.3% a.i. ELS
Tapping year 16 to 20 – 8 rds/yr, 5.0% a.i. ELS
3. Tapping systems to be employed are as follows: For Downward cut – application will be panel or Lace appln method (Pam/Lam)
Tapping year 1 to 20 – ½ S d/3, 67% For Upward cut – application will be Scraped bark appln method.
Tapping year 21 to 25 – 2½ S, d/3, 133% 6. Frequency of Tapping day pre hectare per year is estimated at 116 days, tapping on d/3
4. Manuring program is projected to be applied regularly base on appropriate nutrient analysis mode. (Less 5 days Reg Holidays & 10 days No tapping due to rain, etc.)
and recommendation. 7. Dry rubber recovery: Latex – 28% ; Low grades – 50%
Note: As part of the standard operating procedures tapping systems should be evaluated every year to determine if these were able to meet the desired yields and incomes. Subject to proper consultation and
advice from competent authorities/specialists, the cooperative may revise the proposed tapping system provided that the same will lead to greater productivity and net incomes to the organization and
without diminishing the productive / economic life of the trees.
