EXPLINATION:

Throughout the past months of being a part of this subject and has learned a lot
about the different perspective in conceptualizing the self, I’m positive to say that I learned
much more about myself than before. I learned that ‘Social Self’ from childhood to now is still
one of the crucial role that shaped me on how I interact people. Since the environment I grew
up with is pretty wholesome to say the least, my ‘Social Self’ is good but I don’t think it’s the
one I use the most about me, I like to think that there are others that loves and enjoys
interacting with people, and I simply one of them. However, my ‘Psychology Self’ I think is what
I use most of myself, simply because I act based on what I experienced or what I think is
reasonable, and because “Psychology Self” is mainly influenced by personal upbringings and
experiences. I mostly think rationally since I find it stupid to do things that doesn’t even make
sense, but sometimes my emotions affects the way I think specially when I’m pissed or angered,
so I struggles and benefits to it. ‘Physiology Self’ on the other hand, is what I think most people
and especially my age struggles at first but slowly accepting it. It changes us biologically, one of
them is adulting. I really don’t see myself maturing enough, but I’m aware that I’m getting old
and need to get on my things together to eventually work things out. “Anthropology Self”
focuses on how individuals adapt to and internalize the cultural aspects of their environment,
shaping their identity. As a Filipino, I was taught how to act like a Filipino, love like a Filipino,
and think like a Filipino. Practicing hospitality is being one of them.
