€2400 (morning), €2100 (afternoon): 25 weeks + 8 weeks holidays, 15 hours week (Mon - Fri). This
price includes medical insurance, student protection insurance, course book, registration, guided tours,
Holidays:
The work and study visa is valid for 8 months (25 weeks of classes and 8 weeks of holidays).
Students can take a maximum of 8 weeks of holidays in addition to their 25-week English course.
The holiday period cannot be more than 1/3 of the total weeks already studied at the time of taking
holidays.
Students can take holidays only after a minimum of 8 weeks of study and if they have at least 80%
attendance.
The holiday period must be minimum of one full week (Monday – Friday). Holidays cannot be taken in
the middle of the week.
Holiday periods must be agreed with the school before the student registers with GNIB
(Immigration).

Additional cost:
official exam at the end of the course. Students can choose one of the following:
IELTS: €200
CAE: €210
FCE: €195
TIE: €90
Refund policy:
If a student’s visa application is refused, he/she will receive a full refund of fees, less the
administration fee of €150.
We are a small school where students will receive personal treatment at all times. You
will become part of a small family.
You have full access to an online portal with interactive videos, pdfs and exercises to
do practice at home.
Our courses are prepared with ‘verbal routines’ to guarantee sufficient speaking time
in every class.
Patrick’s English Academy is owned by Cork-native Patrick Mccarthy, who knows the
city very well and can help with any doubts or problems you can have while you are in
Cork.
Patrick’s English Academy is located in a beautiful area in Cork City centre. You have
everything within 5 minutes walking: gyms, restaurants, buses etc.

How to register for a course
Step 1: Written level test (or video call if the student prefers this)
We will send you a written level test to evaluate your level. If the student prefers a video call for
15/20 minutes, we will evaluate your spoken level, talk about your objectives, and explain to you
everything you need to know about our school, courses, methodology, prices and the city of Cork.
We are a family school, and we like to know our students personally.
On your first day of class, you be introduced to your teacher and classmates.
You will receive all of your course material and student induction pack.
You will need to register at immigration and open a student bank account. We will help you with
this.
