Section 1: Career Options and Goals

 My survey results showed by top five strengths, which could help me choose a career where I
can build on my strengths. My first strength was competition, which comes from my desire to do
well in school and could show that I am a hard worker. My second strength is significance
because I want to make a difference and do something important, which might mean I want a
career in something meaningful. My third strength is analytical which shows my logic which is
important for many careers. My fourth strength is focus which just shows that I am goal oriented
and I can work towards the career I choose. My last strength is command which could mean that
a career where I am a leader can play to my strengths.
 I want to be a doctor. This career fits well with the neuroscience major because I could possibly
specialize in neurology. It also fits well with my strengths because I have strengths that are good
for school which will be extra years after undergrad, and I have strengths like significance which
shows that I want to make a difference.
 My educational goal is to be the best student I can be in undergrad and go on to medical school.
My classes are directly transferable to medical school then my career because they are core
science classes and specialized neuroscience classes. Outside of college I will volunteer, get clinic
hours, get research experience, and possibly an internship all in the medical field.
