1) Bernoulli's energy theorem states that the total energy in a fluid system remains constant. It is the sum of potential energy, kinetic energy, and pressure energy. 2) Viscosity is a measure of a fluid's resistance to flow. Absolute viscosity is measured in Pa·s or Pounds/ft-s. Kinematic viscosity is the ratio of absolute viscosity to density. 3) Total dynamic head (TDH) is a measurement used in pumping systems. It is the sum of suction head (Hs), discharge head (Hd), friction loss (Hf), and elevation head (He). TDH can be calculated using velocity pressures and elevations.
