Script for VOICES 2023 _G10 Audition

MC 1 (female): According to Sydney J. Harris “The two words ‘information’ and

‘communication’ are often used interchangeably, but they signify quite different things.
Information is giving out; communication is getting through.”
On this note, VOICES has been long celebrated. This co-curricular activity underscores our
ability to communicate which involves not only the act of sharing information but also the
active participation of everyone which conveys a mutual exchange of thoughts, ideas, and
emotions.

MC 2 (male): Added to that, ‘Throughout human history, our greatest leaders and thinkers
have used the power of words to transform our emotions, to enlist us in their causes and to
shape the course of destiny. Words cannot only create emotions, they create actions. And from
our actions flow the results of our lives.’

To the Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Hussain Al-Aali, Head of School Ms. Ebtisam Alzeera,
