JORHINA FABRIC INC.

JORHINA FARBRIC INC. is a sewing company that provides durable and quality fabric and
cloth that can be used for clothing, carpeting, and coverings. The company offers a wide variety
of such as silk, linen, denim, polyester, corduroy, satin, lawn, rayon, wool, velvet, poplin, voile,
organza, damask, flannel, etc.

Scenario: JORHINA FARBRIC INC. hired new laborers to work for the company because they
experienced labor and product shortage in the last few months. The company will be conducting
a training program for their newly hired workers and laborers and the training program will only
last for one week.

This is the actual training plan of the company for each day of the training program from
Day 1 to Day 5.

Day 1
8:00 - 9:00 AM The newly hired workers must be on the
shuttle service bus provided by the company.

9:00 - 11:00 AM The Company will bring them to the venue for
orientation about the Background and
History of the company. This orientation has
a tenured speaker from the company and it is
an interactive and conversational orientation.
There will be PowerPoint and visual
presentations full of data and information
about the company and the language to be
used is Filipino and English so that they can
easily comprehend and understand the
orientation.

11:00 - 12:00 PM The new workers will have a one-hour lunch


break and the food and drinks are provided
by the company.

12:00 - 1:00 PM The newly hired workers will be introduced to


different kinds of fabrics so that they know
the difference between them. Here they can
also share their tailoring and sewing
experiences.

2:00 - 4:00 - This is the time and moment when they will
share what they’ve learned all throughout the
day. The worker will go to the front and share
his/her brief takeaways and learnings in the
orientation.

5:00 The newly hired workers will go home and the


shuttle service provided by the company will
take them to the drop point to make sure that
they will be safe.

Day 2
8:00 - 9:00 AM The newly hired workers must be on the
shuttle service bus provided by the company.

9:00 - 11:00 AM The Company will bring them to the venue for
orientation about the Rules and Regulations
of the company. This orientation has a
tenured speaker from the company and it is
an interactive and conversational orientation.
There will be PowerPoint and visual
presentations full of data and information
about the company and the language to be
used is Filipino and English so that they can
easily comprehend and understand the
orientation.

11:00 - 12:00 PM The new workers will have a one-hour lunch


break and the food and drinks are provided
by the company.

12:00 - 1:00 PM The newly hired workers will be introduced to


different kinds of Sewing Tools that they
need to master to produce quality and
durable fabrics.

2:00 - 4:00 - This is the time and moment when they will
share what they’ve learned all throughout the
day. The worker will go to the front and share
his/her brief takeaways and learnings in the
orientation.

5:00 The newly hired workers will go home and the


shuttle service provided by the company will
take them to the drop point to make sure that
they will be safe.

Day 3
8:00 - 9:00 AM The newly hired workers must be on the
shuttle service bus provided by the company.

9:00 - 11:00 AM The Company will bring them to the venue for
orientation about what will be their Roles and
Duties in the company. This orientation has a
tenured speaker from the company and it is
an interactive and conversational orientation.
There will be PowerPoint and visual
presentations full of data and information
about the company and the language to be
used is Filipino and English so that they can
easily comprehend and understand the
orientation.

11:00 - 12:00 PM The new workers will have a one-hour lunch


break and the food and drinks are provided
by the company.

12:00 - 1:00 PM The newly hired workers will be introduced to


how to use the Sewing Machine properly.
Here they will try to operate the sewing
machine and the supervisor will watch them if
they really know what they are doing, if not
then the supervisor and the assigned official
will teach them the things they do not know
yet about using a Sewing Machine.

2:00 - 4:00 - This is the time and moment when they will
share what they’ve learned all throughout the
day. The worker will go to the front and share
his/her brief takeaways and learnings in the
orientation.

5:00 The newly hired workers will go home and the


shuttle service provided by the company will
take them to the drop point to make sure that
they will be safe.

Day 4
8:00 - 9:00 AM The newly hired workers must be on the
shuttle service bus provided by the company.

9:00 - 11:00 AM The Company will bring them to the venue for
orientation about Compensation and
Benefits. This orientation has a tenured
speaker from the company and it is an
interactive and conversational orientation.
There will be PowerPoint and visual
presentations full of data and information
about the company and the language to be
used is Filipino and English so that they can
easily comprehend and understand the
orientation.

11:00 - 12:00 PM The new workers will have a one-hour lunch


break and the food and drinks are provided
by the company.

12:00 - 1:00 PM The newly hired workers will start to Practice


and Operate the actual work in creating and
producing fabrics. Here they will be given the
materials and tools they need and start to
make an actual product for the company.

2:00 - 4:00 - This is the time and moment when they will
share what they’ve learned all throughout the
day. The worker will go to the front and share
his/her brief takeaways and learnings in the
orientation.

5:00 The newly hired workers will go home and the


shuttle service provided by the company will
take them to the drop point to make sure that
they will be safe.

Day 5
8:00 - 9:00 AM The newly hired workers must be on the
shuttle service bus provided by the company.

9:00 - 11:00 AM The Company will bring them to the venue for
orientation about what are the Expectations
and Standards that the company expects
from them. This orientation has a tenured
speaker from the company and it is an
interactive and conversational orientation.
There will be PowerPoint and visual
presentations full of data and information
about the company and the language to be
used is Filipino and English so that they can
easily comprehend and understand the
orientation.

11:00 - 12:00 PM The new workers will have a one-hour lunch


break and the food and drinks are provided
by the company.

12:00 - 1:00 PM The newly hired workers will again Operate


and Practice the right process of making an
actual product and how to properly use the
machines and equipment.
2:00 - 4:00 - This is the time and moment when they will
share what they’ve learned all throughout the
day. The worker will go to the front and share
his/her brief takeaways and learnings in the
orientation.

5:00 The newly hired workers will go home and the


shuttle service provided by the company will
take them to the drop point to make sure that
they will be safe.

After the orientation week, the Authorized person assigned by the company will evaluate which
worker is ready to start his/her work and who needs further training and improvements.

The Company will give them a month or two in their work to assess if the training program has
been successful or not. If these workers produce correct, quality, and durable products then it
means that the training program is effective, and if the outputs of these workers were not as
good as expected then the company will conclude that the training program is not effective. In
conclusion, the company will base the effectiveness of the training program on the end results
and final products that these workers have produced.
