Objective: Major resolutions of the 2023 BLIA General Conference, please implement
accordingly.
Description: I. The 2023 BLIA General Conference has been conducted at Fo Guang Shan
Monastery in Kaohsiung and closed on October 9; over 2,500 BLIA
members worldwide from close to a hundred chapters on the five
continents attended the meeting, truly a reoccurrence of the Spiritual Peak
Assembly.
II. The Conference has reached the following major resolutions: The Seventh
Board of Directors is to extend its term of service to 2027 for re-election,
to respond to the Conference theme, “Coexistence and Coprosperity;” to
continue promoting “The Complete Works of Venerable Master Hsing
Yun;” to appoint Buddha’s Light Translators, to conduct the Chan and Pure
Land Dharma Service; to maintain environmental and spiritual
preservation; to foster various Dharma propagation talents; to conduct the
“Three Acts of Goodness Microfilm Contest” and “BLIA Cup Songwriting
Contest;” and to respond to the 2024 BLIA 6th Meeting of the Seventh
Board of Directors, all of which serve to propagate the teachings
worldwide for realizing Bodhi and attaining Buddhahood.
Method: Please see attached the “Major Resolutions of the 2023 BLIA General
Conference” and assist in their promotion and development for actualizing the
Five Harmonies of individual harmony achieved through joy, interpersonal
harmony achieved through respect, family harmony achieved through deference,
social harmony achieved through cooperation, and world harmony achieved
through peace.

May benevolence and harmony bring peaceful wellbeing; let abundance and joy yield
auspiciousness in our lives!
