corner castings are either covered or blocked, carrier reserves the right to refuse to load the
container, that will have to be re-stuffed at shippers risk and cost, to masters and/or carriers
supercargo satisfaction

SHOC

Remarks Shippers Owned Container (SOC):

- Carrier must be advised in advance and approve the shipment of the cargo stowed in a
Shippers Owned Container (SHOC) which shall only be accepted on board and treated as an ISO
container when same is bearing a visible and valid CSC plate, failing which carrier is entitled to
refuse loading, or free to transfer the container to a MAFI or to a Platform or flat rack,
whichever more convenient and available, being the costs related to the transference, plus
eventual lashing/dunnaging/seccuring costs for account of the shipper.

plate or "CSC plate". CSC is the abbreviation for Container Safety Convention.
