PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
• 25th October: students form group of 5
• 14th November: students submit the Powerpoint files to the class monitor
• 21st November: presentation day!

- Each group has a maxium of 15 minutes to present your work.


- Each member must be in charge of presenting at least one part.
- Other groups are encouraged to raise a question for the presenting group.
- The other groups must give comments on your peers’ performance.
- Each member might get a different score.

Did all the members know the information well and participate equally?

Was the presentation generally well-prepared?
Was the length of the presentation within the assigned time limits?
PRESENTATION SKILLS
Did the presenter maintain good eye contact and appropriate body language?
Did the presenter speak clearly and at an understandable pace with appropriate speaking volume?
Did the presenter hold the audience’s attention?
Did the presenter use a range of appropriate vocabulary and gramar?
Did the presenter have proper pronunciation and good intonation?
Was the presenter able to answer questions professionally?
Did the presenter cover his/ her part smoothly that showed good preparation?
Did the presenter maintain his/ her poise and confidence in general?

THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME


Imagine that you worked for a travel agency. Design an adventure/ trip for an upcoming holiday
that would attract a range of customers.
- Your work must relate to the assigned topic for your group (by the lake, in the mountains,
a helicopter ride, etc.)
- Content:
• A brief history of the destination/ What makes you choose this destination
• The activities during the trip
• How to get there
- You are welcome to include other information that would appeal to the audience (e.g.
cost, potential customers, discount, etc.)
