1. Rape by sexual assault is a crime defined by Article 266-A of the Revised Penal
Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353. This section states that rape is
committed by any person who, under any of the circumstances mentioned in
paragraph 1 hereof, shall commit an act of sexual assault by inserting his penis
into another person’s mouth or anal orifice, or any instrument or object, into the
genital or anal orifice of another person.
2. Article 62, paragraph 5 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act
No. 7659, defines a person a habitual criminal if within a period of ten years from
the date of his release or last conviction of the crimes of serious or less serious
physical injuries, robo, hurto, estafa, or falsification, is found guilty of any of said
crimes a succeedinglly.
3. Philippine ships are mentioned in Republic Act No. 9295 that states, ships must
be properly registered under Memorandum circular No. 90 with the Philippine
Maritime Industry. Aircrafts must be registered with the Civil Aviation Authority
of the Philippines through designated procedure under Republic Act No. 9497.
