I expect this class to prove a tough welcome to Law school life, tough as I hope it will be able
to mold me into a student capable of succeeding in this phase of life. I also hope to gain a
clearer understanding of the principles that govern our nation, specifically I want to learn the
reasoning behind the many statues that tell us how we can and can’t live our lives.
