Dear Dr. Nuguit:

I am writing to express my interest in having my internship for my off-campus teaching
practicum at your school. I have heard about the school from my professor and how a number
of my upperclassmen have successfully completed their internship in your school before, and
I believe that I will be able to contribute to the school during my internship just as much as my
upperclassmen have. In this cover letter, I will elaborate on my qualifications and motivations
to be a teaching intern at your school.
To introduce myself, my name is Joone Xyron V. Creencia, a 4th year BS Home Economics
student. While I have no formal teaching experience, as the eldest of five siblings, I believe
that my experience with teaching my siblings has made me adept at explaining concepts
clearly and effectively to younger people. I also believe that my cooking and baking hobbies
will give me an edge in teaching the concepts that are involved in these activities. I consider
myself as a relatively wide-reader as well, and I believe that this can further help me impart
and share more knowledge to the students.
I have attached my resume and pre-practicum teaching portfolio to provide you with an outline
of my abilities, but I would be interested to further elaborate on how I can contribute to Krus
