Dear Melvalena Kitcheyan:

I am very interested in applying for the third-grade teaching position in your school district based off of the
job ID 89610. Upon graduating from Arizona State University in the Fall of 2021, I spent a semester
student teaching third-grade students. I am passionate about working with students and helping to keep
them engaged in the classroom. I also have a diverse background that does not only include a history of
teaching and proves me to be a hard-worker. I believe this makes me an ideal candidate for a teaching
position in your district.

Growing up, my mother was a first-grade teacher, and I gained a lot of experience working hands-on with
her students. This was the first time I realized I loved working with kids. I went on to volunteer with kids in
my local church in Sunday school, and led a group of volunteers. In addition to this experience with
children, I also have babysat since the age of 15. These opportunities helped me to pursue my passion for
working with kids and helping them to get excited about learning. My experience student teaching helped
to confirm for me that this is the career for me and helped me to learn a lot about the role of teaching in
the classroom.

In addition to my work with kids, I have held leadership positions in both Chick-fil-A and Starbucks. These
positions helped me to learn a lot about my leadership style while also proving myself to be hard-working,
ambitious, and responsible. The skills I have learned in these roles lead me to believe that I will make an
asset to your school district.

I hope to be able to prove myself an asset to your school district and look forward to the opportunity to be
able to do so. I have attached my resume and look forward to hearing from you about an interview
opportunity. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Sara-Grace Bridwell
