Social Learning:

Learning to ride a bicycle can also involve social interactions. The child might seek advice and
guidance from more experienced riders or adults. Social learning theory, developed by Albert
Bandura, emphasizes the role of observation and modeling in the learning process. The child may
observe others riding bikes successfully, imitate their techniques, and learn from their feedback,
enhancing the learning experience.

Motivation Shifts:

Motivation can change throughout the learning process. Initially, the child's motive may be intrinsic
(the joy of riding) and extrinsic (praise and rewards). As they become more skilled, their motivation
can shift more towards intrinsic factors. They ride the bicycle because they enjoy it and find it
personally rewarding, which can lead to sustained and self-directed learning.
