HOUSE PRICES
The SHF House Price Index showed
an appreciation of 7.7% at the
national level in the first quarter of
2022 compared to the same period
in 2021.

During the first quarter of 2022, a


decrease was recorded in the
number of appraisals (8.4% less
compared to the first quarter of
2021 II).
RATE OF INFLATION
In August 2023, the National
Consumer Price Index (INPC)
presented a variation of 0.55%
compared to the previous month.
With this result, annual general
inflation stood at 4.64 percent.
UNEMPLOYMENT
In the second quarter of
2023, Mexico's
economically active
population was 120M
people. The employed
workforce reached 117M
people (40.7% women and
59.3% men) with an
average monthly salary of
$5.61k MX.
ECONOMIC GROWTH
The Mexican
economy grew 3.1%
in 2022, following a
rebound of 4.7% in
2021 after a drop of
8.0% in 2020 due to
the COVID-19
pandemic.

POPULATION
In the first quarter of 2023,
according to information from the
ENOE, the country's population was
129 million, three million more
than the population resulting from
the 2020 Population and Housing
Census (126 million), and almost 17
million more than that observed in
2010.
