An AWS Solutions Architect is a professional who designs, implements, and
manages cloud solutions for customers on the Amazon Web Services (AWS)
platform. They are responsible for architecting and deploying scalable, reliable,
and cost-effective applications on AWS.

On the other hand, a DevOps Engineer is a professional who brings together


software development and operations teams, working collaboratively to deliver
software faster and more efficiently. They focus on automating the
development, testing, and deployment processes to achieve continuous
integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of software.
It’s possible to enter the AWS Solutions Architect & DevOps Engineering
profession without a degree by starting in an entry-level IT position. the skills
required for job applications will be gained in the Job Hunting section, where job
search processes, Resume/CV perfection, LinkedIn perfection, and mock
interviews will be studied.

The program consists of three modules, totaling 39 weeks, full-time,
with 8 teaching units (UE) per day, amounting to 40 hours per week. The
instructor conducts 4 hours of live online classes daily via Zoom. During the
remaining 4 hours, you will engage in pre- and post-class activities,
teamwork, workshops, and CMS activities, also through Zoom meeting rooms,
but this time interactively with your mentor.

In the first 12 weeks (480 hours), we will teach you the following IT
fundamentals:

1. Identifying computer components and naming their functions.


2. Using computational thinking as a tool and describing solutions using pseudocode.
3. Intermediate-level Python programming and tackling moderate tasks.
4. Building and programming Scratch projects.
5. Basic Linux knowledge and Bash scripting.
6. Networking basics.
7. Using the version control system Git and its most commonly used commands, owning
a GitHub account, and saving your projects in your repository. This marks the
beginning of building your digital IT portfolio.
8. Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and their application.
9. Web application Jira (for bug tracking, problem-solving, and operational project
management).
10. SQL database language and retrieving, inserting, and editing data using queries.
11. HTML and CSS basics for webpage creation.
12. Software product lifecycle from creation to the conclusion of all activities.
13. DevOps methods and mindset.
14. The most commonly used tools for collaboration and communication (Slack, Zoom,
Git/GitHub).

In the following 12 weeks (480 hours), we will teach you how to work with AWS
services and the AWS Cloud, enabling you to develop cloud-based solutions, depict
and design architectures with your knowledge. By the end of the second module, you
will have expertise in:

1. In-depth network knowledge.


2. Advanced Linux knowledge (Linux Plus).
3. Application of the AWS services covered in the course.
4. Programming languages/configuration languages: Yaml and Json.
5. Creating cloud-based solutions and designing projects on the cloud.
6. Acquiring the knowledge to obtain the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
7. Acquiring the knowledge to obtain the AWS Solutions Architect certification.
8. Enhancing your GitHub account with great projects.
In the last 12 weeks (480 hours), we will teach you the DevOps methodology,
with a strong focus on the DevOps mindset and the most widely used DevOps tools.
This will enable you to automate the entire lifecycle of a software product and
successfully implement the DevOps mindset into the culture, processes, and tools
across all industries within your company. During the final module, you will learn the
following:

What to expect
Before the start of the program, you will receive a new laptop, monitor, a
mouse-keyboard set, and headphones as equipment, which you will keep after
successfully completing the program. Once you receive the participation confirmation,
we will provide you with personal access credentials to our unique Learning
Management System (LMS), where all learning materials will be available. On the first
day, we will also conduct an orientation session to help you set up your system.
The course will be conducted in 2-week periods called "Sprints." In the LMS, you
will find the curriculum for the current Sprint, including all activities you need to
complete daily:
Pre-Class and Post-Class activities with links to learning materials.

With this approach, you will receive a comprehensive learning experience that
combines theoretical knowledge, interactive class sessions, practical hands-on
activities, and access to relevant resources and tools.

Pre-Class
This activity involves preparation for the online live classes and is scheduled for
2 to 3 hours daily. All learning materials are detailed in the LMS and accessible
through links or manual navigation. This phase ensures that you are already familiar
with the topic before the class, and you can provide your questions or additional
points to be covered. The LMS is monitored by Artificial Intelligence (AI), allowing
your progress to be tracked by instructors, mentors, and yourself in a timely manner.
Upon successful completion of each task, you will receive points that ultimately
indicate your current level.

The Slack "Student-Zone" channel is specifically designed for you to interact


with other participants, share information, and engage 24/7. The Slack "QA" channel
is available for you to ask questions to mentors and instructors outside of class hours.
These features provide a collaborative and supportive learning environment, allowing
you to maximize your learning experience.
In-Class

The online live classes take place in Zoom Meeting Rooms and are also
recorded for your convenience. After editing, the recorded sessions will be made
available to you in the LMS. The classes are conducted by qualified instructors.
At the beginning of each class, your knowledge is assessed using the "Kahoot
App" or interactive questions through the Peardeck App.

During the course, 95 hands-on / capstone projects will be conducted in


various fields. These projects will provide you with the opportunity to apply
everything you have learned and create a very rich portfolio. Previously completed
projects are among the most scrutinized sections in job interviews. Moreover, 70%
of DevOps Engineer job postings also require proficiency in the Cloud domain.

The suitability assessment is conducted through a detailed entry consultation.
