Treatment Time Schedule and Activities of the Experiment

1st Meeting Researcher introduction. Then ask students to read the text together

and randomly select students to read the text sentence by sentence.

Then test students' reading comprehension skills with a pre-test with

10 multiple choice questions and 5 essays.

2nd Meeting Learning about the general reading knowledge and introducing

material based on textbook.

3rd Meeting Researchers provides an explaination about multimodal texts and

their application to learning.

4th Meeting Researcher provides an explanation of the assignment for students

by creating groups of 4-5 people to create creations using live

multimodal text with reading stories that the researcher has created.

5th Meeting Students design assignments with their respective groups according

to the assignment instructions given by applying live multimodal text

in group assignment presentations.

6th – 7th Meeting Students practice presenting their assignments using live multimodal

text model and identify the lesson in meetings 2-7.

8th Meeting Post-test and student’s feedback
