Stat Description
HP HP (short for Hit Points) is one of the six visible stats in the Pokémon main series games. It
is a value that determines how much damage a Pokémon can receive. When a Pokémon's
HP is completely down to 0, the Pokémon will faint. HP is the most frequently affected
stat of them all, as depleting HP is the key factor in winning a battle. There are several
ways to replenish a Pokémon's HP such as using items like Potions or in-battle moves
like Rest or Synthesis. The average base HP for a Pokémon is 68, while the average base HP
for a fully evolved Pokémon is 80.
Name Give your Pokémon a unique name that may be related to its type or ability. The name can
also be totally random.
Type All Pokémon are a specific type. You may choose to have a Pokémon with up to two types.
For example, ice and ghost.
Stage Pokémon are evolutionary creatures and start at the basic stage 1. All Pokémon can be
placed at one of four evolutionary stages (though no existing Pokémon line includes more than
three out of the four stages): Basic Pokémon, Stage 1 Pokémon which evolve from Basic
Pokémon, Stage 2 Pokémon which evolve from Stage 1 Pokémon and Baby Pokémon which are
acquired by breeding certain Basic or Stage 1 Pokémon and hatching their Eggs
Info Includes the Pokémon’s height (in feet and inches) and weight (in pounds)
Create a short story about how your Pokémon came into existence. This could be a few
sentences or several paragraphs.
Attack Each Pokémon has two different attacks
Damage
Weakness In brief, Pokémon types dictate whether one Pokémon is either strong or weak
- super effective or not very effective - against another, dealing additional or
reduced damage as a result - and receiving additional or reduced damage - as
a result.
