TAKE THE MBTA COMMUTER RAIL

View the schedule of expanded Halloween services at mbta.com/destinations/salem.

Round-trip tickets from North Station to Salem are $10 on Halloween day. Tickets
must be purchased at North Station ticket windows or on mTicket.

Regular fares are also valid and can be purchased for $8 one-way and $16 round-trip.

The MBTA Commuter Rail travels from Boston's North Station to Salem in about 30
minutes.

Driving to Salem? Skip the downtown traffic and park at a neighborhood T station
(like Swampscott or Beverly) and take the train to Salem.

12:30 AM: Final Train to Newburyport ( Board Rockport Train 127 and change trains at
Salem for a Newburyport connection)
12:21 AM: Final Train to Rockport

CRUISE ABOARD THE SALEM FERRY (WEATHER PERMITTING)

The Salem Ferry runs between Boston's Long Wharf (near the Aquarium) and Blaney
Street in Salem, with trips taking under an hours.

The last ferry departing from Salem on Halloween night leaves at 7:00pm, and tickets
are $29 one way. Visit SalemFerry.com to view schedule, rates, and potential
updates due to weather.

Seek Alternative Routes! Halloween is no time for driving into Salem-
SAFETY TIPS Park in Beverly and take the MBTA Commuter Rail or the Salem Ferry if
coming from Boston right into Salem. There are numerous road closures
Call Salem Police at and details on October 31- if you must drive expect delays.

Avoid Fines ($75) and possible tows by not parking in "Resident" zones.
Arrive Early! Use our Free Satellite Parking lot on Halloween day
Dial 911 in case of located at 77 Willson Street at Salem High School.

Don't get stuck! Entry to the MBTA garage will be restricted beginning
at 6:00 pm. Access out of the garage will be restricted until 11:30pm (or
when festivities are over)

Police Officers
Review Salem's Halloween rules- Alcohol is prohibited and weapons will
be confiscated. The party ends after the fireworks. Plan to depart at
10:30 pm as police and the public works department will be clearing the
