Salem is located on the


coast of Massachusetts 16
miles north of Boston and
45 miles south of New
Hampshire.

How do we
get to Salem?
MBTA Commuter Rail
connects Salem and Boston's
North Station to the south,
Newburyport to the north, and
Rockport to the northeast.
Salem is a 30 minute train ride
from Boston. MBTA.com

Halloween @ BU

The Salem Ferry provides


seasonal, high-speed ferry
service between Long Wharf in
Boston and Blaney Street in
Salem. It is a 55-minute trip
will run daily (weather
permitting) June 8 through
Halloween. SalemFerry.com
By Car, Salem is accessible via
Route 1A, Route 114, and Route
107. The closest highway is
Route 128, which connects to
I-95.

Trick-or-Treat Around the World


October 30, 2 pm5 pm, Howard Thurman Center

Come to the HTC for treats from around the world! Costume optional.

Trick or Can
October 30th, 4-6:30 pm

The purpose of Trick-or-Can is to collect non-perishable goods from local


residents to be donated to the Boston CANshare Food Drive to help those
living with hunger. Students, dressed in Halloween costumes, go to the
communities surrounding the University to collect canned and dry goods.

You need at least three people for a Trick-Or-Can Team! Before you sign up,
make sure to talk to you team, and decide on a name and a team leader who
can be contacted. You will all sign up SEPARATELY. If you cant find a team of
three, but would still like to participate, please e-mail ct@bu.edu.
