Manual peak stat Step 1: Turn off the MEU, have 3 counterclockwise cycle to the potentiometer in the front panel (below the right handle), Step2: Restart MEU, then enter password “9999"then press "2" to have zero Clearing, adjust potentiometer in clockwise or counterclockwise direction, to increase VO and N value slowly, adjust V6 to +0.6 V or 50, write down the VO and N value at this time; Step 3: Adjust the potentiometer in clockwise or counterclockwise again, make the V6 varied between -2 V and +4 V, observe the change of VO voltage, whether it turns back to original value or not, and whether the N value is basically unchanged or not; Step 4: Ifthe condition of step 3 is met, it means the system can stabilize the peak, and then continue to adjust the potentiometer to adjust the V6 voltage to about 0.6 V to complete the manual Peak-stabilizing operation. Calibration: The purpose of the calibration is to write down the N values corresponding to the different Physical Positions of the billet (simulated molten steel) in the Copper tube mouth and save them to the MEU, The height of molten steel level can be simulated by the detection system. The first time calibration for each section must be multiple-point calibration. simulation billet Physical Position and full position. For analyzing flexibly, two more onward calibration Points are required to make from full Position, same for empty position. Note: the dimension of simulation billet should match with the mould section.
