The Theme Park

The smell of cotton candy invades my nostrils as I walk into the theme park. The sound
of people screaming of joy as they ride into the amazing, imposing rides make me
euphoric.

I step into the line of the “Whoozer” ride. My God, wasn’t I excited?! I see a cart of hot
dogs being pushed around, and I can smell the smoked flavor of the recently grilled
sausages from here, and I started to get hungry. Really hungry.

Serotonin and adrenaline invade my senses as the line progresses. I am nearly

entering, and of course, I can feel the rush. I can already hear the boisterous screams
of the people inside the rollercoaster, giving me a sense of extreme want to ride it.

I am next in line. I pass through the security line, and I walk to the platform.

I hop onto the ride, and it starts going up. I grip my hands onto one side, and then,
BAM!

A sudden and unexpected maneuver made my heart sink.

The roller coaster goes down at an exaggerated speed. Then, it goes up. Screams of
joy, fear, and excitement fills the atmosphere. I do not know how to feel. Mixed emotions
of adrenaline filled my mind, as we reached rock bottom. Then, the roller coaster went
up, and down.

The excitement, it was all so fast… fun met excitement, it was all a mix of feelings
where I couldn’t be more merrier than I am.

As I stepped out of the roller coaster, I eyed the ferris wheel. I found myself really
attracted to ferris wheels, and it has been a treasured childhood memory. The gigantic
structure was imposing, and then… it all made sense.

My childhood was in one place, the whole theme park fulfilled all of my memories.

As I reached the top of the ferris wheel and saw the city skyline, I didn’t even take a
photo, as I was admiring the tall skyscrapers that stood out.
This was a memorable moment in my life. And I am going to treasure it as much as I did
in my childhood.
