This is the technical release of OmniPCX Enterprise with the version L2.300.43 It corresponds to Release 11.2.2 MD17
(Maintenance Delivery 17), and this is the last version to this release.
It is available on:
• Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Business Portal (https://businessportal2.alcatel-lucent.com)
• with the references 3BA 27860 AAAV (non secured version) and 3BA 27861 AAAV (secured version).

2 Patch L2.300.43
Warning This document applies to the OmniPCX Enterprise Release 11.2 MD17 in standardized version
L2.300.43.
Version L2.300.43 is the maintenance delivery 17 (MD17) for Release R11.2 (also called R11.2.2)
and makes a set of corrections and enhancements available for sites already installed, new
binaries from version L2.300.42 (R11.2 MD16).
The version L2.300.43 is compatible with OpenTouch Multimedia refer to TC1782 OpenTouch - OXE
compatibility matrix
Note The version L2.300.43 has at least the same correction level as version J2.603.38 (R10.1.1 MD11),
K1.400.37 (11.0 MD5), K1.520.47 (R11.0.1), L1.301.42 (R11.1 MD16).
The database of version L2.300.43 (MAO DB software version: L2.300.43) is compatible till the database
of versions j2.603.38 (R10.1.1 MD11), K1.400.37 (11.0 MD5), K1.520.47 (R11.0.1), L1.301.41 (R11.1).
Warning From the version J2.603.38 (R10.1.1 MD11), any migration to release R11.2 must be done in L2.300.27.b
(R11.1 MD2) minimum.
From the version K1.520.42 (R11.0.1 MD7) and upper, any migration to release R11.2 must be done in
version L2.300.27.b (R11.2 MD2) minimum.
From the version L1.301.31.a (R11.1 MD5) and upper, any migration to release R11.2 must be done in
version L2.300.27.b (R11.2 MD2) minimum.
Before any migration, you should consult the document "TC1854: OmniPCX Enterprise Patch Alignment" on
the Business Portal.
You can use the tool (macro excel)included in TC1854, to check two databases compatibilities:
TC1854en_OmniPCX_Enterprise_patch_aligment_procedure (macro).xlsm
Nothing particular in term of installation. From a previous R11.2 you can proceed by double bascul but :
- “memloader” info will show “KO” during the bascul time
- Noe ip phones will have to be upgraded (use “downstat i” command)
- Boards like GDs will also need to be upgraded

3 List of added features from TR

3.1 In R11.2 MD8/MD9/MD10/MD11/MD12/MD13/MD14/MD15/MD16/MD17
No new feature,since MD7, only correction of defaults (see chapter 8 for the complete list).
3.2 In R11.2 MD7

3.2.1 First version with encrypted binary 8018.
8018 R200 4.95.60, first encrypted binary, is delivered with L2.300.33 patch and 8018 R200 4.95.70
encrypted binary, is delivered with L2.300.33.a patch.
Customers upgrade from 8018 non encrypted binary to this new encrypted binary should ensure that the
8018 set must be compatible with below serial/model.8018 sets introduced in May 2016 (Near 8018 R100
TR) and the 3MG number in the back shell of the phone should be “3MG26201ABAC” or “3MG26201ABAD”.
Only these sets are having flash image which includes security data to allow security binary to work.
3.2.2 Diversion header is not present on INVITE generated by OXE to TRIO Voicemail
In general, Diversion header/ History-Info Header is used to carry the information about the
redirection/forward of a call.
The Diversion header MUST contain the Request-URI of the request prior to the diversion.
The Diversion header SHOULD contain a reason that the diversion occurred.
At present, OXE provides the Diversion / History-info header for only outgoing calls.
New system option is added:

Mgr -> System ->D/H -> Other system parameters -> D/H -> SIP Parameter -> SIP diversion info for incoming
0 : SIP Diversion Info info for incoming not allowed (Default).
1 : SIP Diversion Info info for incoming allowed
3.2.3 Compatibility with 8001G (does not depend on a OXE patch)

3.3 In R11.2 MD6
3.3.1 Include ARS/NCT in case of internal routing when using a SIP trunk
After this feature is implemented, the NCT, managed in the ARS route list with internal routing, is taken
into account, if call comes through a SIP trunk.
The digit manipulation is possible with NCT during internal routing. The number modification preceding in
the route list remains the same (NCT is executed at last).

3.3.2 Support of UUI in Public SIP trunk
It allows transit of UUI Normal and UUI Correlator Data from T2, ISDN to SIP Trunks and vice versa.
It is early liberated in L2 MD6 with some restriction.
Restriction:
For UUI Normal,size is restricted up to 75 characters (including protocol discriminator).
OXE will relay up to 75 characters.
If the received content is more than 75, then only 75 characters are relayed and the remaining characters
are truncated

3.4 In R11.2 MD5

3.4.1 US_RTU_meter OPENSIS APIS/US_RTU_meter RSI/RSI Business counters (Full)
When 'UCas a service' is enabled, the AFE process is started and the new KPIs can be seen in the existing
8770 RTU reports. In RTU reports, it’s easy to know the number of used licenses during the commercial
period.
UCaaS configuration :
mgr -l EN0 ->System->D/H->Other system parameters->Software Package->R/M: UC as a Service
Actually, the 8770 already contains the KPI to count the number of logged CCD agents, it is the KAT040
CALL CENTER AGENT BASE USER RTU. This counter is today available when the AFE process is started
when OXE is defined as a CCD node and when the lock 76 'CCD Agents' is not null.
This feature offered allows to change the number of users to be monitored/ recorded/ listened without
getting a license. For this, the new system parameters have been introduced where the limits can be
modified by administrator.

3.4.2 Call duration control enhancements
The new development is to enable the existing behavior for both outgoing and incoming calls for public and
private trunks after timer expires, if Timed Call Release is enabled.
For this feature, Timed Call Release is manageable for both outgoing and incoming call or only outgoing call
or none through any public or private trunk (ABC-F/QSIG). Timer 260 is system global timer which is used
currently for the call release for Outgoing calls.
This feature works for attendants also.
Parameters :
mgr -l EN0 ->System->D/H->Other system parameters->D/H->System Parameters->All Instances->“Timed
Incoming Call Release”
Timed Incoming Call Release :
When set to Yes, incoming external calls are subject to timed release depending on “Classes of Service-
>Phone Features COS->Timed Call Release and Trunk Groups->Special Services”. Same timer 260 will apply
to both incoming and outgoing calls.

mgr -l EN0 ->System->D/H->Other system parameters->D/H->System Parameters->“Attendant Timed Call
Release Cos”
Attendant Timed Call Release CoS : the default value of this system option is -1 and contains Phone Features
CoS number to be used for attendants.

3.4.3 Desk sharing tool
Desk Sharing management tool ’dsstat’ enhancement : added options to provide more exhaustive
information like :
identify on which physical set a user is connected
identify free desk phones (without a logged user).
3.4.4 No registration of alarm calls from DECT sets
The purpose of this feature is to restrict the storage of called numbers in redial list, last dialed number, call
log for alarm calls only for DECT sets in AGAP mode.
A new ARS prefix is created to establish Alarm calls. Outgoing calls established via this prefix are never
registered in last dialed number, redial list and call log.
This ARS prefix is used only in “block” mode (i.e. the set sends complete number inside only one CC-INFO
message).
The ARS Alarm TG Prefix created from “mgr->Translator->Prefix Plan-> create with prefix meaning ARS
Alarm TG”.

3.4.5 OXE SW SV footprint optimization
Oxe Software server (version 2.06) will now propose 1 or 2 OMS during post-installation. The value 0 even if
it is working is not supported yet. Do NOT apply this value “0” in that version.
3.4.6 IP address details hidden on IP Phone screen (Full)
Exposing the IP address to the end user leads to security vulnerability.

In order to secure/protect the customer network, administrator is provided with an option to hide the IP
address of NOE IP phone by managing x89 Phone CoS.
A new parameter “Hide IP Parameters menu” is introduced in x89 Phone CoS.
It must be set to TRUE to hide the IP address in NOE IP phone (Settings/Options/IP parameters).
Note: changing the CoS value does not require any reboot.
mgr->Alcatel-Lucent 8&9 Series ->8&9 Series COS ->Phone COS ->Review/Modify
The default value of this parameter is “False”
3.4.7 External application 4059 IP version 5.5_2
First version compatible with Windows 10.

3.5 In R11.2 MD4
3.5.1 Critical/major incident when losing FlexLM & increase grace period (Virtualization)
 Basic Description :
In a configuration with flex server, when OXE wants to check out licenses, it sends
checkout requests to the flexLM server.
Once the checkout is done, OXE checks the connection with the flexLM server by sending
heartbeats.
 Existing Behavior :
In a configuration with FlexLM server, if the connection is lost between OXE and FlexLM
server, OXE keep on sending the request to flexLM server for 4 hours. If no response is
realized up to 4 hours then the panic flag is raised.
 Enhancement : Increasing the grace Period
The grace period for setting panic flag due to the connection loss between OXE and FlexLM
server is currently increased to 5 days from 4 hours.
Main advantage of this enhancement is to provide grace period for the system to function
normally without going to panic mode immediately and making the system non functional.
If the checkout is successful with FlexLM server then OXE will send heartbeats. If there is
no response from FlexLM server, OXE sends request with FlexLM for every 3mins. If the
request is failed for 5 days continuously then panic flag will be raised in system.
 Storing the number of remaining days :
At present for FlexLM server after reboot the panic flag counter is reset to 0. So this will
again give additional time to system to enter into panic. To avoid this issue, the remaining
number of days/time for the panic flag to be set is stored in a separate encrypted file.
 Sending the information to stand by :
The encrypted file with the information on remaining number of days is updated to the
standby node
whenever the main is updated. This update is performed through Remote Copy (RCP)
command
If the standby is down during this file transfer, then once the standby node is up it should
requests the file from main node and the same is transmitted via RCP command.

 New Incidents Introduced:
Two incidents 0645 and 0646 are newly introduced under this feature.
Incident 0645:
When the connection with the FlexLM Server is lost, the 0645 incident will be
triggered for every 4 hours until the connection is re-established. So the 0645
incident is a looping incident which occurs every 4 hours on connection failure. The
0645 incident will be continuously triggered every 4 hours after panic mode enabled
also. The remaining days before the system goes to panic mode is also indicated in
the 0645 incident.
Incident 0646:
When the connection is reestablished with the FlexLM Server(but after 4 hours), the
0646 incident is triggered only once. It indicates the successful connection with the
server.
This incident is a CLEAR for all the 0645 incidents which occurred due to connection
failure.
Note If the connection is reestablished within first 4 hours, 0645 incident will not be triggered i.e, the 0646
incident will be triggered after connection reestablishment only when there was at least one occurrence
of 0645
3.5.2 OXE M1: US_RTU_Meter OPENESS APIS (CSTA/TxAPI/Recording)
 Existing behavior:
Up to Release 11.1, monitoring by CSTA, TSAPI monitoring, Recording, Remote recording,
IP Recording are controlled by software locks which contains the number of licenses.
If there are enough licenses, the monitoring/Recording is enabled. If there are not enough
licenses, OXE sends an Error message.

Lock 143 TAPI premium server
Lock 145 Recording B channel using CSTA

Lock 334 B-channel over IP recording using CSTA

 OXE UCaaS and Common configuration
In OXE K1 release onwards, there are two types of configurations available:
UCaaS configuration & Common configuration
UCaaS :
Configuration OXE is in UCaaS configuration mode when the lock “386” (Unified
Communication as a Service) is set to “1”. Same way OXE will be in Common
configuration when the lock “386” (Unified Communication as a Service) is set to “0”.
This lock (386) is available from OXE K1 release. This lock is not movable and requires a
reboot to be updated.
The UCaaS configuration is present in the “mgr” path :
System [D/H]->otherSystemParam->Software Package->Review/Modify: UC as a
Service
Common Configuration :
In a common configuration, the monitoring is done in the same way as in earlier releases.
i.e, the number of monitoring devices is controlled irrespective of lock 386. The newly
introduced system parameters in section 2.2.2 has no effect in common configurations.
 Enhancement :
When “UC as a Service” is enabled, the AFE process is started and the limits can be
checked against with the newly introduced “System Parameters” instead of the Software
licenses corresponding to CSTA /TSAPI /CSTA IP Record /CSTA Record port Administrator
can set different values in the OXE configuration application for the above said OXE locks
during the commercial period.
So, if OXE is in OPEX(UCaaS) mode the classical OXE locks cannot be checked.
The new KPIscan be seen in the existing 8770 RTU reports. In RTU reports, it’s easy to
know that the number of used licenses during the commercial period.
 AFE KPIs
Number of logged RSI agents
Actually, the 8770 already contains a KPI to count the number of logged CCD agents, it is
the KAT040 CALL CENTER AGENT BASE USER RTU.
This counter is today available when the AFE process is started when OXE is defined as a
CCD node ie when the lock 76“CCD Agents” is not null.
The goal here is to also start the AFE process when the lock 386 “UC as a Service” is
enabled in order to have the counter available when RSI agents are used.
First part of the feature delivered in OXE release R11.2 -L2 MD2.
 New System Parameters
The newly introduced system parameters are used in UCaaS configuration to facilitate the
feature.
The values managed in the system parameter are taken into account when any
monitoring/recording are enabled/disabled instead of one that is defined in Software
Locks.

CSTA Monitoring Request

 MAO Parameters :
The aim of this feature is to add KPIs for OXE CSTA/TSAPI/CSTA IP Record / CSTA Record port.
The configurations of these locks are added in a new system parameter :
“mgr->System->D/H->Other System Parameter->RTU Parameters”
8770 synchronize these data via OXE cmise synchronization (same as the other OXE KPI). Each value
are stored in 8770 DB, and processed at the end of the commercial period with the maximum,
minimum, average, and number of days.
 Tools
The values of CSTA locks are displayed with the output of the command “cstainfo”
If UCaaS is enabled in UCaaS configuration, the below mentioned output of the command “cstainfo”
displays the following values managed in system parameters through mgr.
Example :
o CSTA recording B channel is managed as 100
o Remote recording TS is managed as 100
o CSTA record B Channel Over IP is managed as 100
o CSTA Requests monitored is managed as 20000
o TSAPI max Authorized is managed as 100

3.5.3 IP address details hidden on IP phone screen
 Existing behavior
Up to Release 11.2, when the users access the IP parameters on NOE IP phone (Settings-
>Options->IP parameters), it is possible to view the IP address details of NOE IP phones.
 Enhancement
Exposing the IP address to the end user leads to security vulnerability.
In order to secure/protect the customer network, administrator is provided with an option
to hide the IP address of NOE IP phone by managing x89 Phone CoS.
A new parameter “Hide IP Parameters menu” is introduced in x89 phone COS in the
following path.
“mgr->Alcatel-Lucent 8&9 Series->8&9 Series COS->Phone COS-
>Review/Modify”
It must be set to TRUE to hide the IP address in NOE IP phone (Settings->Options->IP
parameters).
Note:
Changing the CoS value does not require any reboot.
The default value of this parameter is False.
3.6 In R11.2 MD3

3.6.1 SSHv2 enhancement (PER 2965)
All restrictions from MD2 are removed.

3.7.1 OXE SOFTWARE SERVER

Description
OXE Software Server is a single integrated system that integrates :
1. A host installed by the Boot DVD (Suse OS) with a flex server installed
2. 1 virtualized OXE (supported by KVM)
3. 2 OMS (supported by KVM)
Characteristics
1. Validated on a Lenovo X3250 M5 (used for OXE)
2. A Suse Operating system supporting a flex server, & KVM running 1 OXE & 2 OMS
3. No external dongle & remote dongle (integrated solution)
4. Duplication done by adding a 2nd & similar server, possible to perform add-on of physical racks.
Installation summary
Installation will permit to insert Actis files & manage OXE/OMS ip addresses through a GUI
1. Install the Suse (use of the common Boot DVD multi product)
2. Copy & execute 2 new binaries (pre/post install) : they contain the installer that will do the
necessary things to copy Actis files, ask for all ip addresses & create the 3 virtual machines.

3.7.2 8212 new DECT Sets
The new DECT set 8212 is available from R11.2 MD2.
The release v00.07 (build 0001) is available on Business Portal, see TC2179
Remark : sets are “GAP Handset” (NOT AGAP/GAP+). Some telephonic features being not available.
3.7.3 8232 R120 DECT sets

New Release 8232 R120 v42.82 (build 0003) is available on Business Portal in June, see TC1772
3.7.4 8242 (MD1) DECT sets

New Release 8242 MD1 v67.81 (build 0001) is available on Business Portal in June, see TC1942
3.7.5 8018 new Noe Sets

The new Noe set 8018 is available from R11.2 MD2, see release note TC2180.
Important Remark : there is a security issue with firmware 4.80.83 (see Sets 8018 with firmware 4.80.83
(R11.2 MD2)). Please use firmware 4.80.84 included in L2.300.27.c.
Remark : this set is retro compatible with OXE R11.1 patch “L1.301.33.b” & above (presence of the
firmware), see release note TC2185.
No new MAO type : sets are seen as 4028/8028.
Headsets: this set has benn tested with the following USB headsets :

3.7.6 8088 set in video mode on OXE

The 8088 set is available from R11.2 MD2 with video mode, see release note TC2183.
Characteristics
Firmware version of the set is R200.02.012.0.1214 minimum
- Video communication is done in P2P mode (audio call first the both parties can escalate in video)
- Video communication possible in a bridge (conference managed by the bridge)

3.7.7 SSH-v2 & NEW AUTENTICATION METHOD (PER 2965)

Description
SSH-1 protocol is now relic and less flexible than SSHv2, also has unfixable security weaknesses, and has
been deprecated for years, it has become mandatory to enable OXE to use SSHv2.
However, the ”.rhosts” based authentication mechanism is also obsolete in SSHv2. It has been found that for
OXE with SSHv2 enabled, Hostbased client authentication would be an apt choice of authentication
mechanism, as it is more or less similar to the “.rhosts” based RhostAuthentication mechanism of SSHv1.
Following are the services which this feature provides :
- Enhanced security with SSHv2 Support.
- Hostbased Authentication that is more or less similar to RhostsAuthentication, thereby minimizing
the impact on existing network setup, configuration changes, tools etc.
- Provides a standard secure way of authentication, with an option enabling the customers to
generate & use their own custom keys
Implementation
In “netadmin” : ->security->SSH->Enable SSHv1, Enable SSHv2 (Newly added for this feature)
Make sure to disable “broadcast/audit” features if upgrading an OXE network since the features are based
on rcp files.
Customizing keys/upgrading CPUs : use the new tool “oxe-ssh-copy-id”
Restriction
“ssh-v2” : a reboot is mandatory in case of CPU duplication
Warning Insert text Crqms00191174: Standby CPU is not coming in service, after cloning when we enable SSH2 in
spatial redundancy setup.
This point is corrected in l2.300.29.b.
3.7.8 US_RTU_Meter RSI /RSI Business counters

Enhancement
Currently, the 8770 already contains a KPI to count the number of logged CCD agents, it is named “KAT040
CALL CENTER AGENT BASE USER RTU”.
This counter is today available when the AFE process is started when OXE is defined as a CCD node ie when
the lock 76 “CCD Agents” is not null.

3.7.9 NFC Extended Mobility - DeskPhone sharing service
Behavior
This feature is the combination of an Android application running on a mobile device and the "Desk Sharing"
functionality, offered on OXE L2/M1 release.
This feature offers the activation of "Desk Sharing logon and logoff" (DSU profile) by a mobile device and a
desk sharing set (DSS), without any interaction from the user, except approaching the mobile device to the
NFC tag of the desk sharing set (DSS).
NOTE: For more details about this feature, refer to the “chapter 3.4 Desk Sharing logon and logoff” in
“Android: External Specification of ALE NFC Xtended OXO Mobility application –
3BA_29000_0518_DTZZA_ed.08” documentation
Implementation of the feature
- In mgr --> Users--->create a user with a DSU profile
- In mgr --> Users--->create a user with a DSS profile
- In mgr -> Users -> create a user and declare it as an “IP-Softphone Emulation” profil, in “TSC IP User”
menu (to enable the use of the “IP Desktop Softphone” application on the mobile device)
- In mgr -> Translator -> Prefix Plan -> create the “Desk Sharing” Logon and Logoff prefixes.
- On the mobile device, download via “Google Play Store” application, the “ALE NFC Admin Xtended OXE
Mobility” (version 2.2 Alpha 2) and “ALE NFC Xtended OXE Mobility” (version 1.2 Alpha 2) applications.
- Using the “ALE NFC Admin Xtended OXE Mobility” application on the mobile device, read and enter the
parameters in the tags to enable the “Desk Sharing” feature on the different sets which will be used
(for more details see chapters “4.2 Configuration” and “5. Deployment” of the documentation
mentioned above, for recording tags)
- Using the “ALE NFC Xtended OXE Mobility” application on the mobile device, enable the “Desk Sharing”
flag and enter the suitable parameters to use this feature (for more details see chapter “4.2
Configuration” of the documentation mentioned above).

3.7.10 SIP Nonce Caching evolutions

Goal of the feature
The aim of this feature is to enhance the support of SIP nonce caching in OXE.
Implementation and use of the feature
Need to enable a parameter "nonce caching activation" in mgr->sip->external gateways to enable this
feature. The feature was already developed in K1.5
Evolution
With this feature, we have SIP nonce caching support for the outbound messages of OXE. This reduces the
traffic of the sip messages in the network during authentication challenging/responding.

3.7.11 Thales box V5M
The new Thales box V5M (available in June 2016) is supported from R11.2 MD2
Enhancement
Provide a new IP-touch security SSM/MSM V5M Thales boxe (with IPV6 enabled) in IPv4 mode for OXE (from
K1.5 release and upper).
With these new Thales boxes SSM V5M and MSM V5M, it is possible to manage IPv6 and IPv4.
Implementation (from V4 to V5M)
- Stop the telephony on Call Server
- Remove the “old” SSM or MSM V5 Thales box and replace it by the “new” SSM or MSM V5M Thales
box
- Configure via serial link the SSM/MSM V5M box
- Restart the telephony
- In mgr -> in “Encryption” - > launch a “Build Config_BT.cfg”, as the new SSM/MSM V5M box will be
updated by the “lanpbx.cfg” and “Config_BT.cfg” files
3.7.12 AS Lenovo X3250 M5

Enhancement
Existing a model single PWS equipped with external DVD fully compatible with OXE & OXE Software Server
(same bios configuration)
3.7.13 VmWare 6.0 support

Enhancement
OXE-CallServer, OXE-MS, and OST64 virtual machines can upgrade ESXi host to 6.0 from 5.x version. That
testing feature ensured that there are no compatibility or performance issues
3.7.14 New NDDI-2 board

Enhancement
The new board is retro compatible with any OXE versions.
3.8 In R11.2 MD1

3.8.1 Audio Station with Windows® 10 qualification
Audio Station was tested in AAS 7.2.3 version with Windows ® 10
3.8.2 A4645 and CPU compatibility

The goal is to support the A4645 Voice Mail when the Com Server is deployed on Crystal CPU.
A4645 has to be hosted on CS-2 or Appliance Server (virtualized or not). Current A4645 Product limit is
maintained.

3.8.3 IPV6 support (Feature under PCS)
Warning Feature under the conditions written in the corresponding PCS document to read
1) OXE network: IPv6 support ABC-F links and trunk groups are compatible with IPv6.
2) Crystal INTIP Hardware: IPv6 support Deployment of OXE solution built with Crystal chassis.
rystal INTIP has to support IPv6 stack. V4/v6 RTP proxy is not required.
3.8.4 Sort user search in OXE integrated with external LDAP directory using first name
The implementation is a rewrite of PER 3064
The goal is to sort user search in OXE integrated with external LDAP directory using first name
Previously in LDAP sorting the received entries are sorted based only on the family name/last name.

3.8.5 Premium Deskphones Backlight management

General Description
The purpose of the backlight is to allow the user to view the set display clearly in low light or no light
environment.
- Backlight is automatically set to on, when there is an action on the set by the user or a call comes
to that set and it remains on as long as it is in active (not-idle state).
- It is not turned off immediately after the set goes to idle, to allow the user to make use of the set
for further calls/activities if any, for a fixed time of 5 minutes.
Current Behavior
Currently, backlight is turned off after 5 minutes of inactivity. This timer value is sent to the set at the time
of initialization.
Enhancement
The scope of this feature is to include new parameter in mgr to configure the backlight timer for NOE
terminal and it allows to configure the desired duration.
New parameter “Backlight timer” is added in mgr in the below path : “mgr->Alcatel-Lucent 8&9
Series->8&9 Series COS->Phone COS”
3.8.6 User entity should be used with One Number Services

General Description
Outbound calls numbering is done according caller’s entity: entity’s discriminators define
translation/routing rules.
In a context of One Number Service, users have unconditional forward to RSI. Calls are then routed by RSI to
a selected number. Entity of RSI is used when numbering selected number using ARS.
Feature request is to use user entity in that case, so more accurate discriminator is chosen for routing
number translation. It works only if RSI and user are in the same node and with ARS numbering. Caller can
be anywhere: external, node network or local. RSI parameter “RSI uses forwarded set entity” has to be
enabled (see 4.Configuration).

In case of routing with direct trunk seizure (no ARS), no entity is used. Trunk group setting “Number
Compatible With” is directly used as “Numbering Discriminator” instead of using entity “Discriminator
Selection” table.
Restrictions
Forwarded set and RSI have to be on the same node. If not, feature is not supported and default behavior is
applied: translation is done following RSI’s entity.
Trunk group seizure must be with ARS.
As existing in previous releases, Forwarded set entity is taken irrespective of the feature is enabled or not
when the caller is External.
3.8.7 Check in/out state and associated room set for guests available in management tools
General Description
The objective of this feature is to introduce a new read only parameter “Associated room/guest” under
Dynamic State User.
This will show the directory number associated to a room/guest checked in. It is displayed only for
Hotel/hospital users.
It is available under the below path

4 CONTENT OF THE SOFTWARE PACKAGE

5 RESTRICTIONS AND REMARKS
5.1 NOE binary delivery

Binary ,noe80x8S_5.00.32 is delivery since the version l2.300.36.A.
But this type of phone set doesn’t appear on mgr, you must choose the corresponding NON “S” type (i.e. :
8028 instead of 8028S…) and the good version will be downloaded.
Tools are not modified (new “S” type is not seen anywhere else than management).
5.2 Encrypted binary 8018
Customers upgrade from 8018 non encrypted binary to this new encrypted binary should ensure that
the 8018 set must be compatible with below serial/model.8018 sets introduced in May 2016 (Near
8018 R100 TR) and the 3MG number in the back shell of the phone should be “3MG26201ABAC” or
“3MG26201ABAD”. Only these sets are having flash image which includes security data to allow security
binary to work.
5.3 OXE crashdump or system restart due to Intel Ethernet Driver HF based
on k1.5, L1 and L2
This technical alert is from L2.300.30 is solved in version L2.300.33a

5.4 Sites with the "IP Touch Security" feature: Migration from R6.2 or R7.x to
R11.2 with SSM & MSM boxes in version 3.5.01.a/4.0.09
CAUTION
Sites using "IP Touch Security Solution" feature (Encryption) must follow a specific procedure to update the
IP Touch security boxes.
The version 3.5.01.a is a package which contain bin_SM 3.3.0.5 and bin_SM2 3.5.0.1.
The version 4.0.09 is a package which contain bin_SM 3.3.05, bin_SM2 3.5.01 and bin_SM3 4.0.09.
Bin_SM3 4.0.09 will be used with future thales box “v5M” these boxes should be officialized in June.
SSM & MSM downloading procedure after an upgrade in R11.2
After upgrading in SL2.300.27.c or upper and with the RUNTEL done, you must update the IP Touch Security
boxes (MSM, SSM) as follows:
1. Check that the versions 3.3.05 for bin_SM or 3.5.01 for bin_SM2 is managed in mgr.
2. Reboot (with Off/On button) each SSM, MSM box, SSM-RM or MSM-RM to allow the downloading of the new
binary 3.3.05 or 3.5.01 (the config_BT.cfg file has been modified; this enhancement is available only from
the version 1.6.02).
3. Check with info -v command that each SSM, MSM box, SSM-RM or MSM-RM has been downloaded with the
version 3.3.05 or 3.5.01 then re-generate the Config_BT.cfg file.
5.5 Sites with DSU users

The DSU users 80x8 managed as boss/secretary in R10.1( J2.603.35_ binary 4.51.30 also 4.51.92),
when migration to R11.2(L2.300.20.e_binaire 4.51.92) are not changed by system into 80x8 but
are still in 4068, so they are permanently resetting till the terminal type is not changed by
management (mgr).
The correction is included in L2.300.25.d, mandatory version to use if system with DSU users.
5.6 OpenTouch Single client OTCt

When User is connected with his OTC Single client CT, his current device is Deskphone.
He changes his current device to "Personal Computer".
At this time, the IPTouch is resetting with message "reset... please wait"
This is not reproducible in MD2
5.7 Sets 8018 with firmware 4.80.83 (R11.2 MD2)

There is a security issue with this binary :
crqms00196217 8018 set: it's possible to unlock the phone and switch to industrial mode from admin login
A new binary 4.80.84 correct this issue (delivered in R11.2 MD2#2 and MD3). For security reason, if the 8018
set has binary 4.80.84 or upper version , it’s impossible to downgrade on lower version

5.8 Sets DECT 500 (solved in R11.2 MD3)
Following the issue in R11.2 MD2

The DECT 500 sets working fine as GAP+ cannot do call by name after migration in L2.300.27
Impossible to register DECT 500/500Ex in GAP+
System Message:
This set isn't able to work in Alcatel GAP+ protocol.
A wrong type of set is tried to be registered as GAP+.
Installation failed.
This point is corrected in R11.2 MD3, but for site with Dect500 the migration is mandatory in R11.2 MD3
(don’t upgrade in MD2).
