Faith Deliverance Tabernacle Queenstown (FDT)

The youths of Faith Deliverance Tabernacle Queenstown (FDT), cordially invites you to

participate in a Christian pageant (Miss Resurrection 2023) on the 9th April, 2023, 6:00pm at

Faith Deliverance Tabernacle Queenstown (FDT).For this pageant , there will be two

categories :Junior (8-12) and Senior (13-19) respectively. You are requested to submit the names

of two representatives for your church by the 5th of March,2023.

The information provided below should be considered ,in relation to the contestants and

the pageant.

Contestants will be judged by the following :

Junior Contestants

- Participants will be required to display only a creative wear, which can be made using

local materials, this creative wear can depict any aspect, that bases itself on the

resurrection of Christ . Points will be awarded to contestants that are bold and confident

when displaying the creative piece. A clear description and meaning of the piece should

also be submitted .

Senior Contestants

- In this category ,teens are expected to participate in a Talent, Evening wear and a

Question and answer segment. Questions will be based solely on the Resurrection of

Christ as found in the book of Matthew. Points will be awarded on how confident and

accurate , questions were answered. The Question and Answer segment will play a major

role in determining the first ever Miss Resurrection 2023.

- A panel of confident judges will be selected so as to crown our Miss Resurrection ,

All contestants will be awarded for their participation.

Sponsorship

Respective churches are tasked with the responsibility of offsetting all expenses for their

contestants. This includes make – up artist, gowns, sash and any other necessities for contestants.

Preparation

All contestants are asked to participate in a free two day workshop for rehearsal at F.D.T at

1:00pm on the 25th and 26th of March, 2023. Key preparatory points will be thought by a

specially invited guest and any uncertainty will discussed with contestants. Participants are also

asked to wear a white T-Shirt with black or dark blue jeans and heels (for seniors)

We are kindly soliciting your support financially to help us offset the expenses of this pageant.

We are looking forward for your full support in making this event a success .

NB.

Visitation will be made to your church Sunday service, as a follow up by the FDT Youth

Leaders.
