1. The water cycle is driven by the sun’s energy. Using the information from the water
cycle, answer the question.
a. At what temperature does pure water freeze?
b. What do we say is happening to ice if it is changing to water?
c. What word describes steam turning into water?
d. What happens to water if it evaporates?
e. Acid rain eat away the stonework of buildings (statues) and kills fish and other
animals when it gets into rivers, streams and lakes. Explain how the Acid rain is
formed.
2. Robert collected a bucket of seawater. It contained salt, water and some sand. How
could Robert separate the salt and the sand from the seawater? Use words from
