WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF MISCOMMUNICATION?

When a message is not comprehended as intended or when the information is lost in translation,
miscommunications happen. Miscommunications might occasionally result in just small
misunderstandings, but they can also frequently result in much greater emotional and/or financial
suffering.

Experts say that depending on the situation, there might be a number of explanations for
miscommunication. Anything might turn out to be a severe problem causing miscommunication, from
picking the wrong words to explain the circumstance to adding a dash of exaggeration.

When the listener's perception of the speaker's intent differs from reality, there is a communication leak
or gap that results. Such intentional misinterpretations occur for a variety of reasons. It could come from
the listener or the speaker. Why does the listener misinterpret the message if the speaker is eloquent,
clear, and intends well? The message might be a recommendation, an order, or another type of directive.
