Life through glass Idea.

Plot

The plot will follow a teenage boy living life as a functional alcoholic trying to get through
everyday life. Following throughout you will see him priories having money for alcohol and
not eating getting constantly criticked and bad looks from people. As it goes on, he quickly
hits rock bottom getting kicked out losing all his friends and being homeless on the streets
until he meets a mentor that helps him get over his problem with the power of music.

Gimmick

The gimmick throughout will be that it is all form the perspective of a glass bottle/bottles
and glasses in general. I will also be a musical with music and the power of song being a
constant factor.

Research

The research that I will be focusing on is how alcoholic try and hide it and not just the
Hollywood stereotype of them being drunk all the time being loud and obnoxious and being
able to be spotted instantly. I will also research on how being an alcoholic effects other
people around them and how they are affected. I will also research how musicals and how
songs can impact the story keeping the serious aspect of things.

How I can make it informative

Throughout I’ll try and make points on how some situations should have been handled and
how to deal with things like this not just instantly dismissing a person and treating them like
a child going through a phase rather a person with actual underlying problems that need to
be understood.
