READING AS THE BASE OF KNOWLEDGE

I have always been interested in understanding the learning process, which has led me to
investigate what has been the knowledge base of the human being and I have concluded
that observation is the initial basis of all knowledge since it allows us to interpret our
environment and transform it to improve our quality of life.

IMPORTANCE OF READING

Over time, one of the most important forms of knowledge transfer has been writing.
Through writing it was possible to capture experiences that, through continuous
verification, became theories over time, giving rise to scientific documentation, experiences
that, given their repetition by different generations, also became traditions, forming what
we know today as culture.

With the graphic representation of the language through engravings, the reading arose.
From my experience, reading has become the main tool for knowledge transfer. Through
reading I can imagine, discover, travel and learn about the world around me. But how can I
be efficient when reading?

MY EXPERIENCE AS A READER

First of all, it is important that you are passionate about the topic, so you can immerse
yourself in the pleasure of reading and feel motivated to continue. I used to read anywhere
and I started to notice my concentration getting affected, so I recommend to read in a
comfortable and quiet place away from distractions. I have set reading goals for myself
which allows me to move forward with a clear commitment. I highly recommend sharing
what you have read, it has worked a lot for me to reinforce what I have learned.

Reading has definitely changed my life and I know it will change yours if you decide to
practice it every day, since you will distinguish your intelligence, you will improve your
level of empathy and your probability of success will be greater since your decision-
making capacity will improve. No matter what your goal in life is, reading is the right way
to achieve it.
