1. OPENING PRAYER
The meeting commenced at 1:11pm with an opening prayer led by Mrs
Adeyiga

2. CHAIRMAN WELCOME SPEECH


 The Chairman welcome members since the last meeting departure and
appreciated them for still believing in the Association
 With a quick recap of some happenings within the zone since the last
meeting, he emphasised the need for our members to be abreast of
emerging trends in the industry. It is duty of all to stay informed about
issues of prices, product quality, industry best practices, basic
bookkeeping and accounting knowledge among others to stay afloat in
these trying times and also to be more security conscious at all times
 He made mention of the united state soil, already in a relationship with
panog for 3 to 4 years now. They are currently in Nigeria, with our
representative there for the lecture

3. READING AND ADOPTION OF THE LAST MEETING MINUTES


 The last minute of the meeting dated 17th, May 2023 was re-posted on
the zonal platforms for all to read, comment and adopted accordingly
4. MATTERS ARISING AND REPORTS
CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA LOAN.
Mr Fajimi Rasheed From CBN purpose Of attending the meeting is to
urge and plead With the Farmers to pay back the Covid 19 loan they
collected.
Responding to this submission and echoing the voice of the majority,the
chairman lamented that the loan was a problem to the farmers
Mr Ottun lamented that the loan is been disbursed late and it won’t be of
use to the farmers
Mr Eko was of the thought that the Covid 19 loan was the farmers
pillative and most of the loan were given to the political farmers

5. COMPLAIN

. POULTRY LITTER SPILLAGE


A visibly disturbed member brought to the notice of the house of a careless
disposal of poultry waste by a farm/disposal vehicle at Ilese axis causing a
terrible eyesore and posing biosecurity risk to other farmers in that axis. The
General secretary stated that there have been series of work on the issue and
it has been resolved positively

 CAPTURING/QUESTIONAIRE DATA ADMINISTRATION


At the last meeting, the essence of farmers keeping adequate farm records and
releasing same as farm data at request was emphasized. So far, the response
rate to the posted questionnaires on our platform therefore urged us all to fill
all questionaires with genuine inputs

6. FINANCE
Only few members paid for annual dues while others promised to send
theirs through the Association account. Details of income and expenditure for
the half year to be presented at the next general meeting

7. AOB

 INTRODUCTION OF FEEDMILL COMPANY


A feedmill company GRIT introduced their product to the farmers in which
they can get it along Ibadan road and also at GAFAR farms.
Another feedmill HAPPY CHICKEN also introduced their product to the
farmers and urges the farmers to patronize them
Mr Belle suggested that there should be protocols and procedures for the
feedmill company, Mr Eko butressed on the point
 PANOG MONTHLY PRICE ADVISORY
Members were encouraged to always be on the look-out for the PANOG
monthly price advisory notice as a guide in determining prices of eggs, birds
and to maximize feed inputs. Notices will be conspicuously printed and
pasted at some of our members sales outlets and farms within the zone for a
wider reach.
The chairman suggested that there should be a day the farmers will be
educated on prices

Rumours
Panog Ijebu zone has been moving on rumors in which is one of the problems
the farmers are having.
The chairman stated that the farmers come for meeting when there are
benefitted programs and he urges all farmers to detain from spreading rumors
and there should be cooperation so the association can grow which will make
the government hear their pleas
Mr Eko spoke on the issue the issue the farmers are having in which they see
Agriculture as a business whereas Agriculture is a political and social venture
He adviced the farmers to place demands on government so as to aid them.

 MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
It was glaring that some of our prospective members are underserved as they
are offline and located other Ijebu axis. It was suggested that efforts should
be intensified by all using both conventional and physical outreach means to
ensure inclusiveness in the dissemination of information and participation in
our activities.
 NETWORKING AND MARKETING SESSION
The meeting session provided avenue for members to have casual and
business interactions as sales adverts, products reviews, contacts etc were
exchanged
