The current topic is Justice and the lenses that I have chosen for the study topic are
History and Social Science. History and Justice are two interrelated disciplines. Justice revolves
around moral correctness based on law, equity, rationality, ethics, fairness and religion. History
has made us realize early theories of justice. History helps us appreciate early advocates of
justice such as John Locke and John Stuart Mill. John Locke indicates that justice derives from
natural law. John Stuart Mill on the other hand appreciates that justice is based on the outcomes
Social Science on the other hand addresses issues regarding the social justice. Justice is
all about fairness. Relating to justice, fairness manifests in the society as form of social justice.
Social justice in the society will include fairness in employment, healthcare, and housing.

My post differs from Alex’s post in terms of the relationship between the topic and the
lenses. While I have looked at the theories, Alex has focused the application of laws by citizens.
Also, in terms of history, Alex looked at how justice has impacted the lives of individuals in the
past. The point I would recommend to the post is that the author should have indicated the how
social justice can be improved and be made accessible to all citizens. The similarity between my
post and that of Alex is that we have both indicated the benefit of social justice to the society.

author focuses on how people can conduct research and studies to improve the justice system
