On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at approximately 1830 hours, I responded t Parking Garage at Logan International Airport. Prior to my arrival, I was informed that the decedent (tentatively identified as MBITU, Margaret DOB: 2/26/92) was reported missing by her family on Monday 10/30/23 from her residential address in Whitman, 2. On 10/30/23 an investigation was initiated into MBITU missing status. During the investigation, Investigators were led to MBITU's boyfriend (identified as KANGETHE, Kevin DOB: 11/09/82). KANGETHE's vehicle (White 2013 Toyota Venza Massachusetts Registration 2JGN91) was observed on 10/31/23 on several city "Flock" cameras to include areas of Lowell and Chelsea. MBITU's cell phone's location was consistent with the vehicle's location. The vehicle was ultimately located inside of the Central Parking garage. 3. Investigators observed an unresponsive individual inthe front passenger seat, Upon further inspection, they determined that it was a black female, and they abserved a large amount of blood inside the vehicle, The female (later identified as MBITU) was showing obvious sig of death, Boston EMS determined her deceased at 1923 hours. The vehicle was immediately secured pending a search warrant. 4. It was leamed that KANGETHE obtained airline tickets for Kenya Africa in the early ‘morning hours of 10/31/23. Surveillance footage revealed that KANGETHE left the Central Parking Garage moments after his vehicle was captured on video surveillance footage centering Central Parking Garage. KANGETHE was then observed entering the Logan Airport Terminal Area and cheeked into a flight. 5, An examination of MBITU revealed there were large slash wounds observed to her face and neck area (under her chin) and a puncture wound to her side. 6.
