Hello RJHS Families,

As we get into the last weeks of school there are a number of upcoming events and scheduling
changes that will be happening. Please read through the following information and talk to your
child about it.

Finals Schedule:

**There are no scheduled classes taking place during finals week. The school is open and there
will be spaces for students to study in during the days/times they are not writing finals. Teachers
will be available to help students with questions, they will not be able to meet with students
during the times they are supervising final exams. Please encourage your child to contact
teachers to arrange a time if they want help during the week of finals.

Honors Standing Lunch for Gr. 9 Students on June 14

Grade 9 Students who have been on the honor roll for all reporting periods during their time at
RJHS will be taken out for lunch. If your child is part of this group, they will be bringing home a
permission form this week.

Honors and Awards Assembly on June 21

On June 21 at 9:00am we will be having an Honors and Awards assembly. The academic,
athletic, musical, and citizenship accomplishments of our students will be recognized and
celebrated. All parents are welcome to attend, if your child is going to be receiving an award you
will be contacted via email.

Student Union Wrap up Event….The Mud RUN (Walk) - June 21, 2023
The annual Mud Run will begin at 1:00pm on June 21, following the Honors and Awards
Assembly. The permission form for this event was included in the general release form signed at
the beginning of the year. This is not a mandatory event, but is a fun way to wrap up the year.
Students will run/walk a cross country type course south and west of Raymond. Students should
wear clothing that can get wet and muddy and is okay to get stained, this includes whatever
shoes are worn.
Students need to meet at the “dirt hills” located at 200S and 250W at 1:00pm for the start of
the event. The course for this event begins and ends at this location. As students finish the run
they will have access to fresh water to rinse off and then they are free to go.

Bussing Schedule for Finals

Buses will run at normal times through June 20. On June 21 the buses will run as usual in the
morning, but the afternoon pick up from the school will be done at 12:00pm. Please make
arrangements accordingly for June 21.
