Multiple Access Techniques-Part2
Multiple Access Techniques-Part2
•In CDMA, stronger received signal levels raise the noise floor
at the base station demodulators for the weaker signals,
thereby decreasing the probability that weaker signals will be
received.
Advantage:
Avoids the near-far effect.
(4) Time Division Frequency Hopping (TDFH)
• The subscriber can hop to a new frequency at the start of a
new TDMA frame, thus avoiding a severe fade or erasure
event on a particular channel.
Advantage
robust in severe multipath or when severe co-channel
interference occurs.
