Activity 1. REFLECTION.

In this activity you are required to write your reflection for the
topics stated below. As your guides, you may consider writing on the effects of the
topics to you on its present relevancy and how it will help ease traffic congestion and
safer travel. You must utilize all the lines provided below.

1. ROTARY ISLANDS
- It is an island, and all vehicles should rotate around the central island in one
direction because this is the best way to reduce traffic congestion in one area.
On the other hand, if the vehicle can rotate, there is the possibility that the traffic
will move in a different direction by rotating the central island.
2. PAVEMENT MARKINGS
In my perspective, pavement markings should be reliable lane to see drivers
directly specially during the night and weather conditions. Also, pavement
markings may convey information to other road users. In regards to vehicle
placement, roadway alignment, and other crucial driving-related tasks, they
continuously supply road users with information.
3. TRAFFIC SIGNS
- In road safety, traffic is most important to all drivers out there and other road
users can benefit from the information provided by traffic signs. They serve as
reminders of the regulations in place to protect your safety and aid in
conveying to drivers and pedestrians' information that can assist keep the
peace and lower accident rates. They can become dangerously neglected.
Also, most signs use images rather than words to make them simple to read
and accessible to speakers of many other languages. It's crucial that you
understand what each image signifies and also that you use it to guide you're
driving because of this. Failure to comply with this risked a severe accident or
a penalty.
4. CHANNELIZING ISLANDS
- They have the term and work like a channelizer to provide the car's direction.
The turning points are where this type is most frequently used since they
facilitate easy and seamless traffic turns while minimizing disruption to other
straight-moving vehicles. They can also be seen where roads intersect or
diverge since they lessen conflict points and make it simple for vehicles to
merge or diverge. They can be a painted island, an elevated or clearly
defined space, or a pedestrian safety zone.
5. GUARD RAILS
- A system called highway guardrails is intended to prevent people or cars from
wandering into hazardous or forbidden zones. Guardrails are used in traffic
engineering to stop automobiles from swerving into oncoming traffic, colliding
with solid objects, or plunging into ravines.
ACTIVITY 2.
In this portion, you need to draw nine (9) different traffic signs of your choice inside each
box. Below each drawing, identify the purpose of each traffic sign and determine its
classification. On the other lines below, write your reflection and how does each sign
guide motorists on the road. You can use additional paper if needed.

It is one of the most significant and noticeable road signs is this one. This

other vehicles traveling to their right.

turn signal to make a left turn; this is the simplest and most frequent method. In
order to use this technique, you must first stop to make sure the way is clear, turn on
your left signal, and then make the turn after making sure the way is safe.

If you're in the inside lane and want to turn right, you must cautiously move to the
outside lane before you reach the intersection. Turn on your turn signal ideally 100
feet in advance of the turn you're about to make to the right. Turning against a red
arrow light is prohibited.
It is a road that connects to or crosses over a major thoroughfare.

The vehicle should stop because there will be a passageway for pedestrians with

stop cars from colliding while they are parked.

It is a red circle that serves as no entry. It means that forms of motor vehicles are not
