PELAKSANAAN KAJIAN TINDAKAN

(Berdasarkan Kitaran – PERHATI- REFLEKSI-RANCANG- TINDAKAN)

MEMBUAT PEMERHATIAN / OBSERVATION PHASE

Perhatikan isu dalam bilik darjah dan perihalkan apa yang berlaku.

Contoh perkara yang diperhatikan:


Markah pencapaian akademik murid/Keadaan fizikal/mental murid/Prasarana/Sikap
murid

 Based on my observation, the pupils of 2 Cekal;


o Easily forget the spellings of new words
o Remember the meanings of said words
o Have difficulties in pronouncing the words correctly
 These issues wer observed based on oral and reading evaluations that was conducted in
class, interviews and class activities that require them to use the new vobaularies.
REFLEKSI / REFLECTION
[Kitaran 1 (b) ]

Berdasarkan kepada pemerhatian/ data, imbas kembali / buat refleksi apa yang mungkin telah
menyebabkan berlakunya perkara yang diperhatikan semasa pemerhatian dilakukan.
Kenal pasti punca isu yang berlaku melalui refleksi kendiri ( berkitan diri guru sendiri yang
menyumbang kepada masalah ) dan fikirkan jalan penyelesaian.

 Based on:
o Interviews
o Obersvations on pupils’ behaviour

they could not identify or spell the new vocabularies correctly, remember their meanings and have
difficulties in pronouncing the said words.

 These can be seen clearly when they can sing a song that contains the new vocabularies but they are

clueless when they were asked on identifying words, pronouncing them and explain their meanings.

If these issues are not addressed promptly, pupils will not learn their second language

meaningfully and might lead to other serious problems such as decrease motivation in learning the

language due and reading and writing difficulties. To cater and help these pupils to retain the new

vocabularies better and register them in their long-term memories and lexicons, , I will try

Kinesthetic Symbols to be integrated in their class activities.
