    Twenty-five years ago on Monday, movie audiences worldwide were
    introduced to Home Alone, a film that introduced cunning 8-year-old Kevin
    McAllister as he defended his home from thieves. after being accidentally left
    at home by his family. Many other children's and holiday films have come and
    gone in the decades that followed, but none had the same cultural impact as
    Home Alone, its warm characters and emotional themes. Motion is still a gift
    for the audience. This is why we love Home Alone 25 years later.
