ABSTRACT
The Training and Placement Office (General), at ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY
organized “Parwaaz”, a one day job fair exclusively designed to empower and uplift women
in their Professional journey. The motive of this program was perfectly aligned with the
G20’s goals of promoting gender equality and women empowerment.
This event attracted many National & Multinational Companies leading in their Industries
such as Cambay Healthcare, Delhi Public School, IIMT Aligarh, IMCS Group, ATX Learning,
Zaytun International Academy, Antal International, RNF Technologies, and many more.
“Parwaaz” received an overwhelming response from female students of various Faculties &
Departments by receiving over 1000 registrations. Parwaaz highlighted the zeal among
women to excel professionally, emphasizing the need for more platforms like this.
During the event attendees were welcomed by Mr. Saad Hameed (Training & Placement
Officer, General) whose emphasis was to highlight the significance of Parwaaz. Dr. Suhaila
Parveen (Assistant Training & Placement Officer,General) articulated the event’s mission of
empowering young women, while Dr. Naima Gulrez, the principal of women’s college,
highlighted the college’s history and the potential of its students. Inspirational addresses
from accomplished women, such as Salma Shaheen and Salma Ahmed, emphasized the
importance of women’s empowerment. Fainan Khwaja, Vice President of Cambay
Healthcare expressed their confidence in AMU students.
Following the inauguration, approximately 400-500 students participated in job interviews
with over 100 securing Job opportunities. The success of Parwaaz can be attributed to the
dedication of students coordinators, volunteers, and the unwavering support of Training and
Placement Office. “Parwaaz”proved to be successful event, adding to the illustrious legacy
of ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY.
"The Aligarh Muslim University Training and Placement Office (TPO) gladly
announces the spectacular event of September 17th, 2023 - "Parwaaz" -- in a
resounding step towards gender inclusivity and empowerment. This ground-
breaking employment fair was held at the prestigious Women's College of
Aligarh Muslim University and was specifically designed to inspire and support
women in their professional endeavors.

Parwaaz" is a brilliant example of dedication to gender equality and women's


economic empowerment, and it perfectly reflects the G20's worldwide
objectives. The event extended a warm welcome to renowned companies such
as Cambay Healthcare, Delhi Public School, IIMT Aligarh, IMCS Group, ATX
Learning, Zaytun International Academy, Antal International, RNF Technologies,
and several others. These enterprises collectively provided an exceptional
platform for young women to embark on their professional journeys and carve
their own unique career paths.

"Parwaaz" was a life-changing experience rather than merely an event. It


brought together forward-thinking companies and aspirational young women,
creating a vibrant synergy that might completely change the face of the
professional world. A range of interactive sessions, workshops, and mentorship
opportunities made up the event, which helped participants advance their
careers and learn about a variety of industries. The importance of "Parwaaz"
cannot be overstated in a world that continually seeks to dismantle barriers and
bias. By holding this ground-breaking employment fair, we are taking a bold and
necessary step towards ensuring that women have an equitable playing field in
the professional realm.

"Parwaaz" has highlighted the passion and enthusiasm of women to thrive


professionally with an astounding response of 1,000 registrations. This
accomplishment emphasizes how important it is to develop new venues for the
advancement and empowerment of women. This event astounding response
emphasized the significance of the occasion and the urgent need for more
venues devoted to improving women's careers.
The zeal and tireless effort of the student coordinators and volunteers, who devoted
their time and energy into making "PARWAAZ" a reality, are largely responsible for
the event's success. The Training and Placement Office's unwavering support and
direction confirmed AMU's dedication to women's emancipation and their
professional development. In a heartwarming and enthusiastic gathering at Aligarh
Muslim University's Women's College, the PARWAAZ initiative took flight, a
momentous occasion celebrating empowerment, opportunity, and the extraordinary
capabilities of the young women it aims to support. The event host, Mr. Saad
Hameed, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed deep gratitude
to the distinguished guests, dedicated volunteers, and invaluable working partners
who had contributed to this transformative initiative. Saad sir underscored the
significance of "PARWAAZ," framing it as a historic milestone in the rich legacy of
AMU.
The spotlight then shifted to Suhaila Ma'am, whose elegant speech perfectly

giving young women the platform they so desperately need to reach their full

with great conviction, stressing the urgent need to address the fundamental
problem of women's empowerment. With passionate conviction, she underscored
the initiative's overarching goals, reaffirming the central and pressing issue of
women's empowerment that lies at its heart.
The Women's College's principal, Dr. Naima Gulrez, gave a brief summary of the
academic institution's remarkable past, spanning more than 115 years. She
lavished praise on the exceptional female students at the college, praising their
exceptional accomplishments—notably bringing attention to the amazing total of
118 medals won at a recent convocation. She showered accolades upon the
remarkable female students of the college, commending their outstanding
achievements, notably highlighting the impressive tally of 118 medals garnered

potential she added, "Students of Women's College will never let you down if you
recruit them; they are going to be an asset and would never disappoint." To further

Women's College to empower, inspire, and uplift the women who pass through its
hallowed halls.

The event featured inspirational addresses from accomplished women like Prof.
Salma Ahmed highlights the global significance of "PARWAAZ" and underscores the
vital importance of empowering women. She praises AMU education for imparting
information and adaptable abilities, which are crucial instruments in this mission.

Prof. Shaheen ardently championed the dismantling of ingrained gender biases and

and unwavering commitment to this cause have invigorated the audience,

Dr. Muzzamil Mushtaq, Assistant TPO (General) sent his sincere gratitude
to the participating companies for their crucial support, having been greatly
impressed by the volunteers' unwavering dedication. During a moving
moment, he requested Dr. Naima Gulrez to bestow honors upon Profs.
Salma Ahmad and Salma Shaheen. Both educators had achieved
remarkable milestones, and their contributions deserved special
recognition. With grace, Dr. Naima Gulrez presented them with keepsakes,
symbolizing their outstanding accomplishments. The room filled with
applause, acknowledging the immense impact these individuals had made
in their respective fields. Muzzamil Sir's words of appreciation resonated
with all, serving as a reminder of the power of collaboration and the
importance of recognizing those who go above and beyond.
Fainan Khwaja, Vice President of Cambay Healthcare and an AMU alumni,
voiced unwavering confidence in AMU students during the "PARWAAZ"
event by saying "The potential the students of AMU hold, we believe won't
find it elsewhere. Coming from an alumni myself, I know firsthand what
they're capable of doing.” he emphasized the unique potential within these
students, asserting that their capabilities are unmatched elsewhere.
Khwaja's personal experience as an AMU graduate further solidified his
belief in their exceptional abilities, making him a staunch supporter of their
endeavors.
The "PARWAAZ" event at Aligarh Muslim University marked a monumental
stride towards promoting gender inclusivity and empowering the women
within its hallowed halls. The aftermath of this ground-breaking occasion
was nothing short of awe-inspiring, with over 100 students being handed
employment offers, a testament to the resounding success of this initiative.

500 students participated in interviews, demonstrating the immense
interest and potential that lies within the female student body at AMU.

that comes with equal opportunities. For the women of AMU, it represented

empowerment.

"PARWAAZ" is not just a one-off event; it is a symbol of AMU's unwavering


commitment to fostering the ambitions and dreams of its female students.
The enthusiastic participation, coupled with the inspirational speeches,
