20 X 8" elbow to be prepared with 8" ball valve
connected with flexible hose towards nearby FW Tie-In gate valve to be opened for water
hydrant (30/11); flushing from existing running header
During FW water make up 8" valve will be lined up
towards FW hydrant;
Flushing point: During flushing hydrant connection to
be removed & water to be flushed towards open
trench located south side of cooling tower near Vendor
Vasu control room.

with flexible hose towards nearby FW hydrant (21C/01);
During FW water make up 8" valve will be lined up towards
FW hydrant;
During flushing hydrant connection to be removed & water to
be flushed towards open trench located west side of cooling
tower opposite CT pumps 2117-PM-02 A/B
Note:
1) All HPV / Hydro test vent to be lined-up during filling of FW
and one by one valve to be closed after water flushing
2) Approach to be made where ever require for operation of
piping components in accordance with P&ID & for installation of
temporary arrangements
3) All instrument valves to be closed during FW makeup &
opened one by one during flushing
