Epirax (Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium Bromide) tablets are

oral medicine used to treat stomach/intestinal disorders, such
as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and ulcers. The medication
combines two active ingredients. Chlordiazepoxide is a
benzodiazepine that helps reduce anxiety and the secretion
of stomach acids. Clidinium Bromide is an anticholinergic that
slows the natural movements of the gut and increases the
relaxation of stomach muscles, both actions reducing
cramping. The usual dosage involves taking this medication
by mouth usually 3 to 4 times a day, or as directed by a
healthcare provider. While generally safe, potential side
effects can include dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation,
and drowsiness. It’s important to not discontinue the
medication abruptly due to the risk of withdrawal symptoms.
