Advanced Divination Training Course

Course Description

The Advanced Divination course calls to Babalawo's and Iyanifa's, who have already
learned the basics of divination with the Opele and Ikin following their Ifa initiations.
Through a series of modules dedicated to Ifa divination, you will learn how to enhance
your understanding and interpretation of Odu to become a more effective diviner. This
course highlights various interrelated facets of Ifa divination to develop a more in-depth
and coherent perspective on the divination process, giving you a more extraordinary
ability to divine for yourself and others. The lessons offered in the various modules of
this course are interrelated and will build upon one another. Your skills and
understanding of the Odu and capacity of Ifa divination will expand with each class.

Structure of the Course

Individual modules of two consecutive meetings.

The cost for each module is $200.
Meetings will take place on Zoom.
Reserved for Ifa initiates (Babalawo’s and Iyanifa’s) who have already learned the
basics of divination with Opele and Ikin and seek to enhance their ability as Ifa diviners.

In Module 1, you will learn…

The various layers of interpretation of Odu.

Significance of the positioning of the Odu on the Opon Ifa.
The Anatomy of Odu as it pertains to the human being and time cycles.
Understanding the multi-leveled nature of the right and left leg of an Odu.

In Module 2, you will learn…

The four key Odus of any reading.

The Trinity of Odu
The meaning behind Ire and Ibi and how it relates to Karma.
The complementarity of Ire and Ibi.
Perspective on casting categories in a reading.
Traditional categories of Ire and Ibi.

In Module 3, you will learn…

Various types of categories.

The significance of each Odu identified for “yes” or “no” questions.
How to identify the energy around a situation.
The traditional method of identifying the supporting energy in a reading.
Altered seniority of the 256 Odu.
