5.3. Read the following scenario and answer the questions that follow.
The grade 5 learners have a task of designing their own Yoyo’s, which involves using a
lot of string. Learners are divided into groups of five and their teacher provides them
with other material needed in order to complete this task. Khanyi has 285 cm of string,
Lerato has 175 cm, Tshireletso has 325 cm, Reaoleboga has 105 cm and Tebogo has
305 cm.
