Objective: To identify students’ experiences in learning Spanish as a second Language

PART I: SPANISH INTERACTION

Activity 1: Listen to your partner and identify 5 or more errors in using Spanish language.

themselves understand.

Activity 3: Identify motivation, aptitude and anxiety in the students from the University of
Miami during the interaction in Spanish.

PART II: ENGLISH INTERACTION

BEFORE THE INTERACTION

Activity 1: Prepare a conversation guide with 10 or more questions about any topic you would
like to talk about, for example: American sports, touristic attractions, festivities and holidays,
etc.

DURING THE INTERACTION

Activity 2: Use your conversation guide and interact actively with your English partner

AFTER THE INTERACTION

Activity 3: Answer these questions based on your experience interacting with your English
partner.

Questions:

How do you feel now?

Can you remember some of your errors? How could you say them differently?

What were the main problems you had during the interaction?

What can you do to improve your interaction in the next sessions?
