Introduction
SriLankan Airlines Ltd (SLA), the national carrier of Sri Lanka operates with a
network of destinations throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe and Australia.
The airline has a strong presence in Maldives and Southern India. SriLankan is a

What is my roster?
6 weeks on followed by 2 weeks off – No annual leave entitlement; Medical leave – 14 days per year.
Full time roster – annual leave of 28 days per year and medical leave of 14 days per year.
Accommodation
SriLankan Airline will provide an accommodation allowance of USD 2,500 gross
Do I get an insurance?
The airline will provide to pilots full Health Insurance.
Travel Benefits
Captains will receive 01 set of firm FOC and 05 sets of sub-load concessional FOC tickets for the
employee and the dependents on UL network and unlimited ID90/ID50/ZED tickets as per the
Company policy (qualifying dependents – spouse and children up to 24 years).

Joining & Repatriation Benefits
To enable to commence employment, the Company will provide free firm air travel Business class for
Captains (UL Network only) from the defined home base to Colombo and on firm ID travel on sectors
not operated by SriLankan Airlines (EY Class) by using other appropriate airlines at the discretion of
the Company for yourself, spouse and 3 children up to 24 years.
On completion of the term of contract, the Company will provide free firm air travel from Colombo
back to the defined home base on Business class for Captains (UL Network) and on firm-ID travel on
sectors not operated by SriLankan Airlines by using other appropriate airlines (EY Class) at the
discretion of the Company (will be applicable for spouse and up to three fully dependent children
Employee and the spouse will be provided with an unaccompanied baggage allowance of 300kgs
each; in addition, 150kgs per child up to three fully dependent children between the age of two and
twenty one years.
All miscellaneous charges pertaining to up-lifting of above unaccompanied cargo has to be borne by
the employee.
Payment Details
BASIC SALARY USD 7,890 for full time
Productivity Payment

Taxation:
Pilots will pay a flat rate of 36% local taxes.

SG Aviation Services will coordinate your application through the screening and selection
process.
SriLankan Airlines will review your application and profile and advise if they wish to
proceed to the next stage.
Approved candidates will be scheduled for an online interview with the airline.
The airline will confirm if candidates have been successful at documentation screening and
shall notify SG Aviation.
The approved candidates will be invited to the sim assessment in Sri Lanka – the flights and
accommodation will be provided by the airline (for 5 days).
