(INT. Sage's Old House)
So basically, ang mahitabo jd sa first scene inig filmmaking is that naay mga foreign armies na
kalaban sa atoa country na mga armies. Nag battle to at that time.
During sa war, naay mga enemies na ming sulod sa balay nila Sage. Then, naka peek si Sage nga
iya mother nga gipatay atong mga kalaban.
Mao to gitak uman shas iya aunt Becah and ning takas sila'g dali2 sa secret passage sa house.
Then fast forward, naa na silas isa ka balay sa iya aunt Becah na layu sa war.
They mourned after what happened the moment they've arrived.
Nag write dayun si aunt Becah og letter about sa nahitabo sa iya wife na gipatay sa enemies and
gipa deliver dayun.

(EXT. Field)
The war is over. They were celebrating sa kani na time kay nadaog ang ato country.
They've won the fight, however, he lost his wife.

-Dad’s Pov-
SERGEANT PAZO: “General!” *saluted*
DAD: “Yes, Sarge Pazo?”
SARGE P: “A letter coming from your wife’s sister, Becah.”
DAD: “You seem troubled, Sergeant. Are you alright?”
SARGE P: “This letter.. i-it’s about your wife.”

I immediately took the letter from him and and read the letter.

GRABE ang kalagot sa dad ni Sage, ni tulo na iya luha sa sadnes and anger. Wala na sha
kahibalo unsa iya ma feel kay grabe ang sakit nga although naka survive shas war but mura pd
sha'g gipatay in the inside.

/revenge/
Another war have occured. Same enemies gihapn. Ang enemies na gapatay sa mom ni Sage.
Sage's father, the General of the army, had planned mag take og revenge.
He did.
However,
It costs his own life as well.

(INT. Aunt Becah’s House)
News about her father's death has arrived to Sage.
Aunt Becah: “Sage..”
What is this? What is happening? What am I hearing?
No..no, it can't be...
Tears from my eyes started to flow. I fell to my knees from what I heard. Aunt Becah
immediately embraced me.
Sage: “Tita.. this is not true. Tell me it’s not true..”
*End of backstory*

-Present- (INFORMATION)
(EXT. Ground)
Four army officers in a row including myself; standing tall with our chin
up, chest out, shoulders back, and stomach in.

-Sage's thoughts-
(I couldn't help but admire the authoritative woman walking in front of
us.

She is my role model. The only woman I admired the most. The kind of
person I want to become, a successful and most respected soldier not just
in our country but in the whole world. Our Brigadier General, Rhaeyna
Velaryon, of the Philippine Army. Not just any Brigadier General; she is
the first female general in the P.A. )

GEN VELARYON: "We have a new mission. Officers are tasked with
being present at this coming war."

I immediately returned my attention to what I heard.

(War.. reminds me of the people whom I loved the most. Who sacrificed
for love. For the people, for the country, for my mom, & for me.)

GEN VELARYON: "There is a territorial attack on a portion of our

nation. It is occurred in the western part of Visayas."

(I can't believe it.)

General Velaryon looked at me yet not long after she turned away and
continued,

GEN VELARYON: "The war will be on Negros Occidental."

I just closed my eyes as I remembered what happened before.

(Can I handle it? The people there.. why does it seem like history repeats
itself?

My hometown..
I will face it. It's not going to be easy but I am never going to turn my
back from what I have earned. I will fight even if breaking my heart
means saving lives and serving the country.

I am First Lieutenant Sage Elarian Mozante, survivor, and a fighter for

the country.)

(Social Interaction)
(EXT: GROUND)

Me and my battalion are heading towards our training location.

DRIVER: "We've arrived." Sabi ng driver namin. Huli naman akong

bumaba.

Nang sandaling tumapak ang mga paa ko sa lupa ay kusa lamang

umangat ang aking paningin sa kulay asul na kalangitan.

(I still can't believe how time flies so fast and now I have given such
great privilege to serve and fight the country as the First Lieutenant.)
*I reached my hands to the sky.

SAGE: "Mama, papa, I'm here. It's within my reach. I am finally here to
make your sacrifices worthwhile. I miss you.."

"Lieutenant.." natauhan ako nang may tumawag sa akin. Lumingon ako

at nang pagmasdan ko siya, he's wearing a black beret and the various
colored organizational berets uniform.

(I can see his badge. He's the Colonel. The son of General Anderson. )

Kapwa kami sumalodo sa isa't isa.

COLONEL: "Welcome Lieutenant Sage Elarian Mozante. I am Colonel
Azriel Peter Anderson. The most handsome and the sexiest Colonel
alive. How is my dearest Sael?" He winked.

*I raised my brows.
(This guy have some guts. And one more thing, who even is Sael?!)

SAGE: "Thank you, Colonel. I WAS okay."

He laughed.

COLONEL: "You're very interesting, Sael."

SAGE: "Lieutenant Sage. I am First Lieutenant Sage Elarian Mozante,"

Seryoso at ma-awturidad kong sabi.

"whatever your intentions are, Colonel, with all due respect, I do not
find you interesting at all." Hindi ko na napigilan ang mga salita na
lumabas sa aking bibig.

COLONEL: "Woah! You are so straightforward Lieutenant Mozante,"

He chuckled.

"I was just going to ask you if you would like to be my partner? It would
be great.” He winked and looked at me playfully.
(Seriously, he.is.so.annoying.)

(Oh, Right. Brigadier General Velaryon has mentioned we can have

partners in training.)

SAGE: "I can train by myself."

COLONEL: "Well, see you tomorrow then,

Lieutenant Sael." He whispered.

-Sage: voice over-
This annoying guy, I never thought that he would be the one that would
turn my life upside down. I never thought that this day would be the last
day before everything will change.

Training Day (Regulation & Control)
(EXT: TRAINING GROUND)

COM LAN: "Everybody in full gear for a 20-mile hike. LET'S GO!"
[Commander Lan]

As we were jogging, I sensed Colonel Peter was looking at me. But I am

too focused on finishing this. Kaya mas pinabilisan ko pa ang pag-jog at
inunahan na silang lahat.

5 miles.

3 miles.

1 mile.

(You can do this, Sage. Just a little bit more.)

Suddenly, someone appeared. It was Colonel.

COLONEL: “Hi Lieutenant.”

(When will this guy stop?!)

I looked at him with annoyance at mas binilisan ko pa ang aking

pagtakbo hanggang sa naabot ko na ang ground where we started.
(Finally!)

I looked around, I was the first to finish the task, followed by some
creature- Colonel, rather.

Nakita kong ngiting-ngiti na naman si Colonel, as if he was proud.

(This annoying Colonel.)

Lumapit siya sa akin at tinignan ko ang kanyang kamay na nakahawak

sa braso ko,

COLONEL: "You're so fast Lieutenant! You don't just have a beauty,

you also have such skills. Maybe you could teach me someday." Pabiro
niyang sabi.

SAGE: "You don't have to touch me Colonel.

Plus, you are already a Colonel. Stop making excuses just for you to
talk to me."

He smiled with amusement in his eyes,

COLONEL: "You're so witty. I like it."

-Next scene- (Motivation)

/Training/

We ran.
COMMANDER LAN: "Get your heads right. Don't start feeling sorry
for yourself. You people don't know what tired is!" [character]
--
We climb.
COM-LAN: "COME ON. Faster, faster!"
--
We crawled.
COM-LAN: "YOU CAN DO IT!"
--
We rolled.
--
We defended.

COM-LAN: "Lieutenant Mozante will be the defender whilst Colonel

Anderson will be the attacker"

(Really? Why him?)

Down. I defended myself.
Colonel smiled at me but as usual, I gave him a stony look and stood up
as if something never happened.
--
We rescued.
COM-LAN: "YOU DON'T JUST FIGHT FOR LIVES, YOU ALSO
SAVE LIVES! GO!"
--
Finally. I sat under a tree and drank water as soon as we'd finished. I
closed my eyes for a bit, and as soon as I opened them, I saw a man
approaching my way.

(Great, it's Colonel.)

He sat next to me.

COLONEL: "Hay, what a privilege."

SAGE: "What do you mean?" I looked at him

COLONEL: "To sit next to a woman. And not just any woman; but a
fine, skilled, dedicated, brave, strong, and a wise Lieutenant. The only
female officer in P.A" He smiled at me and looked me in the eyes.

I looked away.
SAGE: "Thank you, Colonel."

COLONEL: "Pedro, you can call me Pedro."

I shaked my head,
SAGE: "No. An officer must be respected. Hence, I refuse to call you
by your name."

COLONEL: "It's a command then. I command you to call me Pedro."

Sabi niya ng ma-awturidad.

SAGE: "You cannot do such thing unless it's related to our job,
Colonel."

He laughed.

SAGE: "What? Did I say something wrong?"

COLONEL: "Nothing. It's just that it's cute."

SAGE: I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, Colonel."

-Sage: voice over-

I found myself smiling a lot lately. As much as much as I hate to admit
it, but he became the reason of it all.

FAST FORWARD
Before War:
The regiments are gathered together before we will split tomorrow
morning, heading to our battle field in western Visayas.
We are spending the night by having a bonfire by each battalions.
Colonel is in the 2nd battalion. Most of the soldiers are on their indian
sit, laughing at each other.

COM LAN: "Lieutenant Sage!"

"Commander," tipid akong tumango dito.

Tinawag ako ng mga babaeng sundalo at dito ako pinatabi sa kanila.

(They are all looked so happy and relieved.

But what made me so uneasy is his brown eyes from afar. The only thing
distancing his gaze from mine was the dancing fire.

Can't he stop staring at me? He's being so obvious that people already
noticed.)

There are teasing and laughters around.

F-SOLDIER 1: "He's looking at you," bulong sa akin ng mga babaeng
sundalo.

SAGE: "Don't mind him."

May dumating na lalaking sundalo na may dalang gitara, they were

singing joyfully and some even raised and waved their hands in the air.

I can't help but to glance towards him and everytime I look at him I
always caught him staring at me, as if I'm the only person he's with.

( Those brown eyes. )

COLONEL: "Do you mind if I borrow your guitar?" I learned to raise

my brows the moment I met him.
M-SOLDIER: "No problem Colonel Anderson," the soldier
immediately handed over the guitar to him.

F-SOLDIER 2: "Can you sing Colonel?" tanong ng mga babaeng

militar.

COLONEL: "A little bit, but I wanna try." He even winked at my

direction.
( This man. )

Nagsinghapan ang mga kababaihan.

He strummed his fingers softly to the strings, COLONEL:"I am

dedicating this song to the most beautiful Lieutenant I've ever seen."
He's looking at me.

"Halaa, who is that?"

"Name drop!"
"Name reveal!"
"Is it Lieutenant Mozante?"

Napatigil siya nang nag aasar na naman ang mga boses ng mga sundalo
sa amin, kahit si Commander Lan ay ganito rin.

COLONEL:
"Well, I don't know.." He smiled at me.

"But she is wearing silky navy blue tonight," inaasar na ako ng mga
katabi ko at natigil lamang ito nang nag strum ulit ng gitara si Ped- I
mean Colonel.

"I love the way you smile when I look in your eyes
Nag taasan ang mga balahibo ko nang marinig ko ang napakalamig
niyang boses.

I love the way you laugh when I try to be funny

And how a tear rolls down your face

(I wanted to look away. To look in different direction but his eyes and
voice are locking me to stare at him like forever.)

When I say no one could ever take your place

Maging ang mga sundalo, babae man o lalaki ay nadadala sa boses niya.
They are all hugging each other's shoulders while swaying with his
enchanting voice.

My heart hammered too fast when he reached the chorus of the song.

THE WAR (Emotional Expression)
Nervously hoping as we all looked at the hill, waiting for the signal.
...
*Sergeant Macalolo-oy showed up, raising the Philippine Flag*
PRIVATE: "I-it's over.. THE WAR IS OVER!!"
Naghiyawan kaming lahat.
(My heart was filled with joy when I finally saw the flag being raised.
Means that finally, the war is over.)

I immediately searched for Colonel. But I couldn't find him.

SAGE: "Commander Lan." I saluted.

COM LAN: "Oh, Lieutenant Monzante?"

SAGE: "Have you seen Colonel Anderson?"

Commander Lan remained silent for a few minutes, his smile vanished.

COM LAN: "No, I haven't Lieutenant."

(Where is this man?)

Worried, I dialed him using my walkie talkie.
SAGE: "Colonel Anderson, this is Lieutenant Monzante. Where are
you?"

-Peter's Pov-
(INT. IN THE CAR, DRIVING)

"Where are you?"

(I smiled bitterly, feeling my heart ache as I listened to her lovely voice.)

PETER: "I guess the war is finally over. Ah, I missed the shouts of joy
from the troops. I'm sorry I wasn't there, Lieutenant."

SAGE: "What? Where on earth are you? I thought you're with us."

PETER: "I- *coughed*"

SAGE: "COLONEL? What happened to you?"

I looked at my hands, filled with blood coming from my abdomen.

PETER: "Commander.." mahina kong sabi

-Sage's-
(What is happening? Why is he calling commander?)
COM LAN: "Lieutenant."

Confused, lumingon ako kay Commader Lan.

SAGE: "Commander, what is this? What do you know that I don't?"

COM LAN: "Colonel Anderson find out there was a time bomb that
was about to explode us all."

I covered my mouth in shock.

(A TIME B-BOMB?!)

COM LAN: "Colonel is doing his part by defusing it."

I tried to stay calm as much as possible. Ayoko pangunahin ang lahat.

SAGE: "Did it work, Colonel? Did you manage to defuse it?"

There was a moment of silence before he answered.

PETER: "It did work,"

I sighed in relied,
SAGE: "Colo-"
-Peter's-

"Thank you so much for cooperating. Officers, Commander Lan,

Generals, father, I know you can hear me. Please.. please take care of
my Lieutenant.. please take care of Lieutenant Anderson. I love her so
much, more than this country."

I'm very truly sorry, Sage..

-Sage's-

My eyes widened.

(WHAT?)
SAGE: "Colonel, what-"

COLONEL: "Sage.. the country needs you. The country needs a soldier
like you. They are all waiting for you, love.."

(No.. no.. Colonel. I'm thinking wrong, aren't I? What I heard was wrong
Peter..)

My eyes watered in an instant. I can't help the tears to fall down on my

cheeks.
SAGE: "Peter, what on earth are you talking about?!"

I looked at Commander Lan, he looked down.

(SO THEY KNEW! It has been planned. They used Colonel as a

sacrifice for us all.. how- how could they.. I could've helped him.. I
could've tried helping to save us all.. why Peter? Why must you be the
one?!)
SAGE: "Peter why.."

-Peter's pov-
I smiled bitterly as I watched the time ticking.

COLONEL: "Sage, please listen to me.."

-Sage's-
"We promised each other Peter.. Did you marry me just to leave me?
Don't you know that you are causing me that pain again?! I'm left with
nothing but you, Peter, you're all that I have. Peter please,

I need you.."

-Peter's-

Tears started to run through my cheeks. Parang pinatay na rin ako sa

luob..
"Sage..I love you, I love you with all that I am. I don't have much time
left, love.."

SAGE: "Peter, we'll send backups now. I'm coming. Just tell me where
you are. You will be saved. Please don't lose hope.. Please stay alive,
Peter.."

PETER: "Lieutenant, the time is running. You can't.. Please continue to

fight for the country."

SAGE:"Peter.."

Nahihirapan na ako.. nagsimula nang nangigitim ang mga paligid ko.

My blood is wasting.

PETER: "Sage, my.. my life is slowly drifting away. Will you please
leave those words to me?"

-Sage's-
"Peter, stop. It hurts.. it hurts, Peter..
The pain that I can't even do anything to keep you alive. I don't want to
be left again, Peter. Because i love you, so so much.."

-Peter's-

SAGE: "I love you so much, Pedro.. I love you, I love you. I love you
more than anything."

(Pedro..finally.)
