1. Concept of Design for Miniature (Green and Woody Modern Style Design) (Not flat surface (with
contour) (Include if your design was revised from previous work)

WIDTH: 6,000 mm

LENGTH: 10,500 mm

The design concept of my miniature is based on my floorplan in sketchup and have might some changes
during miniature making. feature striking materials such as glass, steel and concrete over the more
common brick and wood. Natural lighting is encouraged through large (often floor to ceiling) windows.
The combination creates an almost industrial look that has minimalist undertones. While most roofing
has a slight slope to encourage draining, My house concept design minimizes this slope to present with a
flat or low-pitch look. This kind of roofing gives the home a sleek aesthetic that appeals to the modern
style design. But I will change this design to hip roof design. In implementing modern Style design, it is
essential to blend with the surroundings of house. The natural sunlight filling up the house through
large windows, skylights or glass walls will complement the modern look of space even more. The large
windows will also provide outdoor views to connect the house with the environment.

Another concept trait for my modern style design is the use of light materials and furniture for it’s
interior. Combine industrial elements such as concrete, glass and steel with natural materials like woods
and leather. I’ll choose furniture with exposed legs and slim bases. This will create effortless aesthetics
to the space, enhancing the overall modern look of the house. The use of neutral colour palette is very
suitable to achieve a modern look in a house. Neutral colour such as white, black, grey and the natural
earth tone of the materials used in the space will complement and highlight the visual appearance of the
house. The neutral colour scheme will blend together with the other elements, creating unified
aesthetics of my miniature design.

For my landscaping design, I have this inspiration to follow as basis for my model making:

Arrangement of nature’s raw material elements, like vegetation and planting, combined with nonliving
elements, such as exterior structures, paving, and decking, in order to create site-specific solutions that
enhance the exterior spaces of a house.
