Analysis of Pupil Performance (Year wise Analysis of Board question papers subject wise)

Attendance:

 Shall be 75% in each year of the two year course, calculated till January 15th for Class XII
 In case of unwanted absenteeism fine of Rs 1000/ will be charged.

Assessments

► Class Tests- regularly

► 1 Unit – depending on the weightage of each subject
► 1 Term – as per ISC guidelines
► 2 Prelims- December & January
► Projects- shall be completed by November
► Minimum Passing percentage: 35%
Subjectwise Weightage

Science :
 Theory papers(Physics, Chemistry& Biology)- 70 marks
 Practical papers – 30 marks
 Journals are evaluated & Practical exams are also held
 Mathematics- 100 marks
 Environmental Science: Theory- 70 marks, Projects-30 marks
 Physical Education: Theory- 70 marks, Practicals-30 marks

Commerce Stream :

 Business Studies , Economics, Accounts & Commerce

 Theory– 80 marks, Projects – 20 marks

Humanities:

 Psychology, Sociology – 70 marks, Projects- 30 marks

 Economics & Political Science- 80 marks Projects – 20 marks
 English – 100 marks

SUPW
 Important for students to be part of co- curricular activities & outreach programs like
Adult Literacy Program, Grains distribution, traffic awareness program, safety,
cleanliness drive in school, participation in various school activities like cooking, voting
awareness, street play etc. are mandatory.
 Blood donation camp, Street Plays , Field trips

Internal Evaluation
 All subjects have internal markings that are carried out by the school, based on
assignments, projects based on data collection, analysis of books, movie reviews, practical,
course work, group discussions, debate etc
 Participation in all school based activities is compulsory.

Projects & Practical

 Projects and Practicals are part of learning and are evaluated by both internal and
external examiners.
 Marks for the same are sent to the Council
 As per the scope provided by ISC, practicals should be completed and submitted before the
next practical period.

Prelims & Practice Papers

▪ Why is it important to attempt practice papers ?

• 2 prelim exams are conducted in school
► Prelim papers of various schools are shared with students for more practice so that they
get a feel of the Question type & language used.
► Students improve their thinking and writing speed too & develop confidence.
► It is mandatory to attempt both the prelims
 Sufficient reading holidays will be given from 15th Jan

Registration for Class XII

 Class XII : When registration forms are sent for verification please check thoroughly for
names of students and parents correction, spellings, date of birth and all other parameters
Please correct with a pen & Parent’s shall put their signature & return on time.

Discipline

 Cell phones: strictly not allowed

 Two wheelers: Helmet & license
 Parents should check the App for feedback about students performance and concerns that
are updated.

VPS App
 It is important to download the app for all communication updates from the school.
 Refer the Circulars for fees, assignments, projects submissions and remarks.

Note:

Parents and Students shall read the almanac pages thoroughly

• Fill up both the pages of “My introduction” in the almanac with complete information
• Health card shall be filled after a check-up by doctor along with sign and seal
• The perforated page of My Introduction and Health Card in the Almanac has to be
submitted in the school to the class teacher.
