POLISH CAVALRY AT GERMAN CHECKPOINT
POLAND, September 1939 : A German roadblock/checkpoint
is attacked by a raving Polish Cavalry Group.

Germans :
A) For each squad, MMG, or HMG within 6 hexes of crossroads - 2 points. 5
B) For each AT gun, mortar, AFV within 9 hexes of crossroads (w/LOS) - 2 points.
The Polish player wins if his points total is higher than the German’z.
Polish :
A) For each squad within 4 hexes of crossroads - 1 point.
B) For each squad, MMG, or HMG within normal range of crossroads (w/LOS) - 1 point
C) For each mortar or AFV within 12 hexes (w/LOS) to crossroads - 2 points.
NOTE : A squad can be awarded points for A or B but not both.
Polish forces enter per SSR I. Crews & Mortars must start loaded on trucks.

DANTZIG POST OFFICE N°1
Danzig, POLAND, 1st September 1939 : The Defence of the Polish Post
Scenario JM01 Office in Danzig (Gdańsk) was one of the first acts of World War II in Europe,
as part of the Invasion of Poland. Polish personnel defended the building for
VICTORY some 15 hours against assaults by the SS Heimwehr Danzig (SS Danzig
Home Defence), local SA formations and special units of Danzig police.

German Armored Cars PSW M35 ADGZ (NA in SL Gamettes) are replaced by PSW 222.
German Assault Engineers are not equipped with smokes.
Post Office forces start Concealed. Polish Grenades are replaced by Molotov cocktails counters (without firestarting ability)
Partisans are Hidden Placement and Concealed, and are activated on a 1-3 on each Rally Phase after Turn 1.
OPTIONAL RULES : Add +1 Fortification to Postal Office Entrance (1G6) and Postal Office has Fanatics rule (26.0)

Aftermath :
The Polish resistance was unexpected. The defenders greet germans with a hail of small arms fire and grenades. Casualties were inflicted,
including the death of SS Untersturmfuhrer Heinrich and the Nazis were forced to beat a hasty retreat.An ADGZ armoured car was called,
supported by infantry, to conduct a reconnaissance. Polish officer was killed resisting Assault troops. The assault force were reinforced
with two SS Heimwehr-Danzig 75mm guns and later with a 105mm Howitzer. German sappers completed mining and put explosive charges.
Benzine and flamethrowers are then used, obtaining surrender at the end of day. Prisoners were later almost all executed.
