BRASS BAND

A musical ensemble consisting of


brass wind,
woodwind and percussion instruments.

BRASS WIND

A brass or other metal wind instrument having a cup-shaped mouthpiece,


such as the trombone, french horn, trumpet, and sousaphone.

TRUMPET

It is the smallest brass instrument


frequently used in classical
and jazz ensembles.
It plays the melody.

TROMBONE

A big brass musical instrument


in which you blow into it
and slide a U-shaped tube in
and out to adjust the length
and make different sounds.

FRENCH HORN

The French horn is a complexly


coiled metal tube with a wide flared bell
on one end and a mouthpiece on the other.
SOUSAPHONE

The instrument is twisted in a circle


to fit around the musician's torso;
it concludes with a big,
flared bell aimed forward,
projecting the sound ahead of the player.
